WHO IS THIS STRANGER THAT IS IN CHARGE OF YOUR CLUB?
He collects the door charge and keeps it, he has a running bar tab and
Guest list, he brings in his own security, he has his own DJ, he has the flyers for the club printed, you pay for them and he has somebody, ( who knows who) supposedly pass them out.

YOU GO ALONG WITH ALL OF THIS, MY QUESTION IS WHY?

Why would you give your Cover Charge to a perfect stranger?

Why would you let a perfect stranger have a bar tab?

Why would you let a perfect stranger have a guest list?

Why would you let a perfect stranger bring in his own security?

Why would you let a perfect stranger have his own DJ spinning?

YOU own the club, but yet you can't put people in it?
Is that the problem?

You let these so called, and I do mean so called "Club Promoters" who never have two nickels to rub together, walk all over you, like a junkyard dog.

I provide you with every aspect of packing your Club, your bar, your Sports Bar, your Lounge with Quality Patrons and no drink specials, but you are codependent upon these perfect strangers to generate a livelihood for you?

Either you elevator does not go all the way up, or your two French fries short of a "Happy Meal."

How can you NOT see, you are losing money, patrons, control, inventory, image, all at once?

WHO SHOULD YOU LISTEN TO?
Stop listening to Club Promoters, employees, friends and family.
The key is to prevent your bar, your sports bar, your club, your lounge from suffering through tough times, by seeking out an expert.
You have attempted everything you can think of, you have listened to strangers, in an effort to pack your establishment.
But, what have you actually accomplished?
The more experienced a Consultant is, the better they will be able to understand your situation and help dramatically improve it.
Listen to your Consultant, I pleaded with a million and a half dollar nightclub in Sarasota to let me advise them, they ignored me and after a year and less then four months they closed down.
Every issue I told them to address, they ignored and it all came crashing down.
I am so frustrated when Owners put their own egos over common sense and logic.
Your Staff must always be on the same page as the direction you are taking the club is.
Employees that whine and complain and cause problems, should be terminated at once.
I had a club Owner in St. Petersburg tell me his General Manager was giving away the bar and ignoring his responsibilities, my question was, why was he still employed by you?
No Response.
You cannot expect overnight miracles, but you can create packed nights within a month.
Always use the "Richie Reverse," "Prepare for the worse, but think the best."

One Restaurant Magazine I read said "The good news is that some of our competitors will not make it."
NO that is not good news, it is the worse news any food and beverage Operator wants to face.
My question is What are you prepared to do to pack our place?
Listen to me very carefully, it is not, it is not, it is not about Price, you can hold your menu and bar prices exactly where they are and generate new income streams if you are smart, insightful and realize you need outside "EXPERTISE"?
There are only so many Women and QUALITY Patrons,Visitors,Tourists,Regulars out there every night, "The Richie In Your Face Tactic" is to go after all of them.
But with "THE FUN" and "THE WOW FACTORS."
Not institutional advertising.
Not the same nightly format.
Not the predictable.
Not the Stale.
Not the usual.
Yes, it is challenging, but let me make this perfectly clear, there are plenty of Restaurant, of Bar, of Club of Lounge Owners who are making plenty of money right now and not giving away any food or drink.
Now, I ask for the final time, "What Are You Prepared To Do ?"
