Surely by now, you know this?
When I create a Format I include a half dozen
avenues of revenue, a half dozen facets to the Promotion, a half dozen
streams of marketing, it's not an idea any longer, it's a well thought
out, very creative, extremely powerful, highly exciting Night combining
"THE FUN' and "THE WOW FACTORS".
The key is not to give the bar away, and pack
the place, but rather pack your bar or club and make serious cash flow.
Far too many Owners and Managers spend so much
time in "Meetings", instead of wasting words, why not assert action?
This is not Debate 101 it's not Hesitate 101 or
Procrastinate 101.
As Ray Kroc the Founder of McDonald's use to
say, "It's not what you do, but the way you do it".
As in Premier Promotions, Themes, Parties,
Concepts, Events, Contests, Celebrations, Gatherings, Happenings, and
Unique Entertainment.
The only difference between a bar that holds
100 patrons and a club that holds 1000 Party People to me, is the size of
the crowd.
The challenge is still the same in this
dismal economic reality.
As Ray kroc also said and I pack bars and clubs
by his words, " Whatever you do, don't prostitute yourself, it's got to
be in your heart".
When you are giving away the cover charge,
giving away free drinks to ladies, giving away cheap drinks to everybody,
that is not in your heart.
McDonald's has made more millionaires of those
who worked there , than any other Company in the history of business.
It doesn't take a college degree to pack a
nightclub or bar, or to take a restaurant and turn it into a night life
adventure after 10pm at night.
Many people in management of food and beverage
establishments with "MBAs" from top schools are the same people who have
driven these establishments into the ground and out of business.
Having a master's degree means squat compared
to on hands experience as a bartender, as a dj, as a bar back, as a door
person, as a server, when you have completed each of these jobs and know
them inside out, like I have then you can manage the biggest food/
beverage operation you approach.
Give me a dirty hands experienced person over a
College degree any day and twice on Sunday.
While your competition is packed with $1
drinks, who cares?
What are you doing to counter and bury them?
When you do what they are doing, your simply
throwing in the towel and as I always say "Panic Promoting".
When was the last time you were original, the
first, the creator and not the copy cat?
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU VISITED MY WEB SITE
