Promotions are what put 600 + a weekend in here, the demographics is roughly 67-33 percent African  American  to Caucasian. we are a Top 40 dance club, which started out with more than enough business, from there we don't  know what happened. Thanks for any insight, Paul.

                        PAUL, WHAT HAPPENED IS YOU RAN OUT OF PROMOTIONS.  THE DEMOGRAPHICS ARE IDEAL TO REBRAND, REIMAGE, REINVENT, REPOSITION THIS CLUB TO. BUT YOU LOST YOUR FOCUS AND GOT CAUGHT COMPLETELY OFF GUARD TO THE POINT OF YOUR MARKET SHARE SHRINKING AND SINKING FAST.
YOU NEED TO BE ON THE "FUN OFFENSIVE", THE "WOW FACTOR AGGRESSIVE" AND THE "FAB FAST FORWARD" TO REGAIN YOUR CROWD.
YOUR SOCIAL NETWORKING IS BORING.
YOUR PAST IS NOT YOUR PRESENT.
YOU ARE ALLOWING THIS CLUB TO SIMPLY DRIFT INTO OBLIVION, BECAUSE YOU REFUSE TO LEARN, TO LISTEN AND TO MOVE FORWARD.
WHEN YOU "START OUT WITH MORE THAN ENOUGH BUSINESS" AND THEN HAVE NO CLUE WHAT HAPPENED, IT SHOWS A CLEAR LACK OF UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR MARKET,  YOUR CONCEPT, YOUR CLUB'S IMAGE, YOUR COMPEITITION, YOUR PLANNING, YOUR STAFF MORALE, YOUR PECEPTION IN YOUR COMMUNITY.
IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT INSIGHT, IT'S ALL ABOUT OVERSIGHT, YOU NEED TO FULLY UNDERSTAND, FIRST, WHY YOU LOST YOUR MARKET, SECOND, HOW TO GAIN IT BACK, AND THIRD, HOW TO KEEP IT.
YOUR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT , "PROMOTIONS ARE WHAT PUT 600 PLUS CLUBBERS" IN THAT CLUB EVERY WEEKEND, AND SHOULD OF PUT AT LEAST HALF THAT MANY IN THAT CLUB ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHTS.
BUT YOU HAD NO CONSISTENCY. 
YOU HAD NO PLAN OF ACTION.
YOU HAD NO FULL YEAR STRATEGY.
YOU HAD NO ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE OF ALL PROMOTIONS, MARKETING.
YOU HAD NO STRONG WEB PRESENCE.
YOU HAD NO  HIGH PROFILE IN YOUR LOCAL AREA.
YOU HAD NO FORESIGHT TO THE SEE BEYOND THE NIGHT COMING UP.
YOU HAD NO ABILITY TO GRASP THE CLUB CONQUEST MENTALITY.
THAT IS WHY YOUR CLUB IS SLOWING FADING AWAY.

At Happy Hour We give 50 cents off of beers
All Week at night we offer 4 dollar wells
We offer a  different shot anywhere from 4 to 8 dollars every Night.
People still think we are too expensive, the size of our cups for wells/mixed drinks are small
I have never worked in a bar/restaurant establishment, I only took this job to gain extra money on the side but this place just is not cutting it. There is no live music, no food served. The place is open five days a week.
I want to help the owner any way I can w/ideas and suggestions.

VICKY, I WOULD QUIT NOW. PEOPLE THINK THIS PLACE IS TOO EXPENSIVE, THEY DON'T SERVE FOOD, THEY HAVE NO LIVE MUSIC, THEY ARE OPEN FIVE DAYS A WEEK, AND ARE SLOW.
THEY HAVE ZERO "FUN", ZERO "WOW FACTORS" AND ZILCH IN "FAB". YOU ARE NOT MAKING ANY MONEY, THE PLACE IS NOT CUTTING IT. THE OWNER IS SET IN THEIR WAYS, AND THEY DO NOT CARE. QUIT NOW, FIND ANOTHER PLACE, WHERE YOU CAN MAKE MONEY, YOU CAN'T HELP BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE, THE EXPERTISE, OR THE HANDS ON EXPERIENCE. We feature live music, local bands, Thursday - Saturday.
We offer Daily Food Specials.
We have pool leagues, we sponsor local baseball teams, host poker runs, we have corn hole, we have bike night. We advertise every week on a local radio station, We also advertise on Facebook. YOUR DOWN 20% FROM LAST YEAR, WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU WASTING A PENNY ON LOCAL RADIO? WHY ARE YOU BOOKING THE SAME LOCAL BANDS EVERY WEEK, EVERY MONTH. HOW IS "ALL YOU CAN EAT" GOING TO BRING IN SPENDERS, BUILD LOYALTY AND CREATE "MENU MANIA"? IT ISN'T. BOTH NIGHTS ARE PRICED AT $10 PER PERSON AND THESE ALL YOU CAN EAT HOURS EXTEND FROM 4pm to 10pm. AS I HAVE JUSTIFIABLY DECLARED 'IT'S A FINANCIAL FOOD FIGHT', IN THE INDUSTRY RIGHT NOW.  

THIS IS HOW INDEPENDENTS RESPOND TO "CHILI'S DEALS", OF $6 LUNCH, $20 TWO ENTREES FOR DINNER, "RED LOBSTER'S SEAFOOD FEAST" FOR $15 FROM SOUP, SALAD, ENTREE AND DESSERT, IT'S NOT ABOUT QUALITY, OR PRESENTATION, OR EVEN TASTE, IT'S ALL ABOUT PRICE.
