  Do you need, do you want, you think you must have a Mobile App?
You have spent thousands of dollars on radio spots, and what did they produce for you?
You have spent outrageous sums of money on print ads, on groupons, on paying someone
who had zero experience to over see your Social Media Marketing, and what viable financial
results did you see?
Now you are being inundated with Mobile App Companies, via email, via phone calls, even in person, although not dressed like professionals, they do know their "Mobile Apps".
The question is simple. Your not a chain. Your an independent location,  you hold 200 people, you have a good reputation, you have great bar sales, that compliment your food revenue.
The question I ask again, that you need to answer is, what will a Mobile App do for you, that you don't have already?
What new elements of revenue, of doing business, of generating new faces in your place is a Mobile App going to produce for you?
You didn't rush to put up a web- site, you still don't have one, you use Face Book, because you refused to spend the money, you never knew what a web site could bring you in the way of recognition, sit down traffic, new dining patrons, out of town customers, you just never had the faith, the understanding or grasp of a web site, so you just never put one  up.
Now comes the some daunting question, "So I have a Mobile App".
Well, times have changed, this generation is super glued to their smart phones, lap tops are antiquated  and fast becoming obsolete. A Vice President of "HP" came right out and said that straight to me " Lap Tops are becoming obsolete".
So with Tablets, Ipads, Smart Phones, Kindle Fire HDs, do you know what a Mobile App is capable of doing?
Let me give you this to think long and deep about, "mobile ad revenue skyrocketed 145% during the first half of this year to $3 billion, compared with the same period in 2012". Now what does that tell YOU<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Consumers are making the switch from desk top computers to mobile devices. 
Apple just rolled out two new awesome devices, Samsung rolled out two new tablet type devices and Nokia rolled out one tablet like product. The Apple Products start at $499, and is beyond any device you have ever used or seen.
So you should know lap tops are going bye bye and faster than you know.
Now back to Mobile Apps, if you choose to feature one, what will your format be?
We went to an Italian Upscale Northern Italy Cuisine Restaurant we found, on our tablet through their Mobile App.
The decor was over done Northern Italy.
The Service was impeccable.
The Pre Meal Rolls were delicious.
But the Lasagna was awful. It was just not prepared properly, it did not look right, and while the portion was fine, the taste was awful.
The Portabello Mushroom Sandwich was very disappointing, the mushroom was smashed, the salad that accompanied the sandwich, was just some lettuce and carrot strips. It was not worth eating.
The Grouper Sandwich with the same salad was the worse. The Roll was soggy, The Fish came in chunks.
The lunch Tab was $55, plus tip, based on their Mobile App, that brought us in, we will never go back. I will not bother destroying them on Urban Spoon, Trip Advisor, or Yelp. The Restaurant itself will end up closing. So the Mobile App brought us in, but it also will never bring us back.
Make sure before you feature a Mobile App, your Service, Quality, Presentation, Is Superb.

YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING CONSISTS OF A WEAK, NOBODY FRIENDS, FACEBOOK PAGE AND A WEB SITE THAT IS SO OUTDATED AND LAME, WHY EVEN HAVE IT UP?

YOUR REMODEL WAS EXCELLENT. BUT YOU DID NOT THINK OF WHAT YOU WERE GOING TO DO , AFTER YOU FINISHED YOUR REMODEL?

                              LI, I researched your establishment's past, present and future.
First the reviews from before you took were enough to discourage any potential owner to walk away.
Yet, you chose to proceed, and buy this nightmare.
From the Food to the Service, from the Presentation to the Quality, this sports bar was a total loser.
You new Social Media Marketing Presence is not weak, it's awful.
I don't know what you were thinking, but the most difficult place to take to the Profit Plateau is one known as the worse sports bar in your area.
So moving right along, you bought it, changed it's name, changed it's look and thought like on the staged reality show "BR", that people would just flock in.
Well, to be quite truthful with you , it does not QUITE work that way.
 You had absolutely no plan to go from "Trashy" to "Classy".
Your Menu, Your Beers, Your Daily, Nightly Format, are all over the place.
You have no CONSISTENCY, no SEMBLENCE of STABILITY at all.
It's no wonder nobody wants to even walk in.
Your another case of going down the tubes, because you listened to all the wrong people, spent way too much money, and had no solid, strong Strategy.
LI, I don't know what you were thinking, but you about to feel the full brunt force of financial fiasco come straight at you.
I wonder why NEW OWNERS make so many mistakes and then hesitate to urgently REDIRECT, REPOSITION and REINVENT what they have done so badly?
I wish you the best. I tried calling you directly, but you did not answer your phone, maybe, unfortunately, you threw the towel in already?

I have a challenge bringing in people and I already operate in Fun and Wow factors every single night(every Friday).

I am looking at taking a position as Bar & Grill manager (to be discussed this Tuesday with the 2 owners) of a bar that has tons of potential in my opinion, but has died because the owners are making EVERY mistake you warn of!  I am eager enthusiastic, and ready to get informed on the now, the fab, and the wow factor!                              Katrina, taking over the Position you speak of, at a Bar and Grill that has two Owners, who are making every mistake I warn of, is a very dangerous job to even consider.
I applaud your enthusiasim, your energy and your tenacity.
But, I fear, you have a confused, disallusioned staff,
If people are working at a Bar and Grill that is dead, then how do you think they are paying themselves?
You want me to inform you of "The Fab", "The Wow Factors".
Turning that Bar and Grill into a packed place does not happen right away.
There is so much negativity associated with this Bar and Grill, that you are facing a monumental challenge.
First, you need the Owners to walk away.
They need to give you the authority and financial ability to maximize and Master Social Media Marketing.
They need to give you the power to hire and fire.
They need to give you CONTROL of this Bar and Grill.
The #1 Question they will have Katrina is, what experience, knowledge, background, EXPERTISE you have to meet/make these Changes.
When you have two Owners destroying A BAR AND GRILL, it's becaues of any number of reasons:
Drugs
Drinking
Women
Lack of Business Savvy
Short of cash
Family Crisis
Partner Vs Partner
Checks Bouncing
No Bar and Grill Background
No Policies, Proceedures, of any Kind
Katrina, I would urge you to walk away.
There are major problems in this Bar and Grill, these two Owners are lost.
With The Night Before Thanksgiving, with The Night Before Christmas Eve, with New Year's Eve, there are easy $100,000 at stake.
Too many Owners will waste money on radio, print, flyers, groupons, and end up with mediocre nights.
Katrina, I wish you the best of success, but I don't see this Bar and Grill as being your starting place.

I watch "BAR RESCUE" and think maybe I should ask Jon Taffer to help my bar/restaurant, that is dying. Our Staff has an attitude, my husband has now started drinking, we have taken out all the equity our home has to offer, and we are in debt for well let's just say we  are close to $250,000 in debt.                               Betty, you have nothing to lose by contacting Spike TV, Eyeworks, and Jon Taffer.
He will come in the cameras will roll, and he will unleash what I call "The Taffer Terror". He already knows everything he needs to know from the paperwork his staff has provided to him, the internal videos he has already viewed, so the intro is for the viewer, the Stress Test is totally unnecessary, but it's part of the show's format. He will go after your staff, he will question why you, your husband have not taken positive actions to rectify the downfall. If you think going through this bar bashing is worth it and you have the potential to reduce your debt , change your image, and work your tuchus off to make this "Bar Rescue" succeed, then go for it, make a video, cry, show emotion, plead with Jon Taffer and show his staff the potential your bar has, the crisis it is going through and the Happy Ending your bar will have if Jon does his "Make Over". My Family's Bar and Grille was doing great for two years, we were known for our food, our service, watching games and even a DJ at later night.
Now, due to other bars opening up near us, that are giving away the bar, stealing great bar staff from everywhere including us, we are suffering.
Do we put more money into this Bar and Grille?
Do we close the doors and sell it?
