ALOT OF MY CONTENT IS PRESENTED IN ALL LARGE FONT LETTERS, BECAUSE I WANT TO MAKE THE BIGGEST IMPACT. NUFF SAID.

  The Nights of simply featuring a DJ are OVAH. The Nights of simply featuring a Band are DONE.

 The new "NIGHTAINMENT", is the Combination of both a good DJ and a Great Band, all performing on both Friday and Saturday Nights.
Switching up the Bands on BOTH NIGHTS. 
But bringing in Bands that are unique, different, high energy, w a Female Lead Singer or Two Female Lead Singers, or an all Female Band. Never the same local bands.
You book the same local bands, then you wonder why very few patrons show up?
Because local bands don't dress up, they don't learn enough new material, they don't enhance their performances, they often drink onstage, sometimes curse, why would you pay a band that acts like this?

The reason live entertainment in music is not the #1 source in clubs is because Bands have not adapted to 2015 in their overall Performance/Presentation.

Thus, the demand for out of town, highly motivated, entertaining, Bands.
Sure they cost more, but they also draw packed rooms.
And with a Cover Charge.
People pay up to $25 to see a Movie, they certainly will pay a mere $5 to dance the night away to a "Great" Band.
Your afraid, because no other bar charges a Cover Charge, but I have the "Process" by which you implement a Cover Charge to the least amount of resistance, if any at all.

NIGHTCLUB FORMATS ARE TOO RIGID.
SO YOU HAVE THE DJ, OFTEN HIGH PRICED, TOP TALENT, ADD YOUR LIGHTS, SOUND, DANCE FLOOR, BOTTLE SERVICE, VIP AREA,  THAT IS YOUR FORMAT. THE PROBLEM IS, IN THESE DAUNTING TIMES, CLUBS NEED TO BE MORE LIKE UPBEAT BARS.

RIGHT NOW, FOCUS ON "JULY 22nd", THAT IS THE AIRING DATE OF "SHARKNADO 3 OH HELL NO". THE 2 HOUR ORIGINAL MOVIE  WILL PACK YOUR BAR OR CLUB. BUT YOUR "SHARK ATTACK NIGHT" MUST INCLUDE ATMOSPHERE, STAFF IN COSTUMES, SPECIALITY DRINKS, FOOD, & MUSIC. A COVER CHARGE IS A MUST. BUT THE NIGHT ITSELF MUST BE TOTALLY CIRCLING IN "FUN", "WOW FACTORS". OF COURSE YOU HOST A "TARA REID" AND "IAN ZIERING" LOOK A LIKE CONTEST. YES, YOU CONTACT YOUR LOCAL TV NEWS DEPARTMENTS.YOUR BAR, OR CLUB WILL BE ON THE 11:00PM NEWS THAT NIGHT.

BUT YOU HAVE TO, MUST, NEED TO, PLAN YOUR "CONCEPT" A FULL 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. IT'S THE LAST MINUTE ATTEMPT TO PROMOTE THAT ALMOST ALWAYS FAILS. YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING, MUST EMBRACE "MOBILE DYNAMICS". EVERYONE YOU WANT IN YOUR BAR, ESPECIALLY FEMALES, LIVE BY THEIR SMART PHONES, YOU NEED TO REACH OUT TO THEM. BUT YOU MUST EMBRACE THE NEW " MOBILE TECHNOLOGY MARKETING." EVEN TEXTING IS NOT ENOUGH ANYMORE. INSTEAD OF MOBILE MARKETING SUCH AS "TEXT TO____ FOR FREE ENTRY AND DRINK", CLUBS SHOULD BE TARGETING UPSCALE PATRONS WITH "ULTRA BOTTLE SERVICE NOW HOSTING", TYPES OF MOBILE TEXTS, REACH FOR THE TOP TIER OF PARTY PEOPLE, NOT THE BASIC, LOOKING FOR A FREE OFFER PERSON.

WRONG STRATEGY. I ALWAYS AIM STRAIGHT FOR MILLENNIALS WHO SPEND. YOU WANT THE "YOUNG PROFESSIONALS". YOU START REACHING FOR YOUR WEEKEND CROWD, THE MONDAY BEFORE THAT WEEKEND ON SOCIAL MEDIA, BUT WITH VISUAL, NOT PICS OR WORD CONTENT.

THOSE DAYS ARE OVAH. 

EXAMPLE: A 15,000 SQUARE FOOT CLUB, WITH A BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR, IS LOST. THE OWNER IS FEATURING KARAOKE, POKER, FRIED FOODS, CHEAP BEER, AND LOCAL BANDS, A RECIPE FOR TOTAL DISASTER, WHICH SADLY THE OWNER IS CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING. THE OWNER HAS ZERO GAME PLAN, HE IS NOT A "PLAYMAKER", BUT RATHER, A "HIT OR MISS" PROMOTIONS PLANNER. THE OWNER HAS NO SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING INSIGHT, KNOWLEDGE OR DIRECTION. THEIR FACE BOOK PAGE FOR THEIR OTHER BAR, HAS "HAPPY THANKSGIVING" UP AS THE LAST POST. MEANING? NOBODY IS PAYING ATTENTION TO THEIR MOST VITAL SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING. THIS CLUB, WHICH SHOULD BE JAMMED, SLAMMED, AND RAMMED WITH CLUBBERS, IS INSTEAD DEAD. WHY OWNERS HAVE NO MOTIVATION TO TAKE ACTION, BUT WOULD RATHER SUFFER, I CANNOT GIVE YOU A LOGICAL , HONEST ANSWER TO. ALL I KNOW HOW TO DO IS ATTRACT WOMEN, AND MEN WHO SPEND. THE LONGER AN OWNER WAITS, THE LONGER IT TAKES TO MAKE THE TRANSFORMATION.

SIMPLY HAVING A DJ WEEKEND NIGHTS IS NO LONGER THE ANSWER. OFFERING LADIES FREE DRINKS, WHEN WHAT THEY WANT IS "FUN" AND "WOW" DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE WITH A FULL HOUSE OF LADIES. FEATURING EXPENSIVE OUT OF TOWN DJS IS A ROLL OF THE DICE, PUTTING LOCAL BANDS, THAT PLAY EVERYWHERE, MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE, FOR YOU EVEN COLLECT A COVER CHAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE.

WHY CLUB PROMOTERS ARE NOT THE ANSWER. STOP FEELING LIKE YOU HAVE TO TURN TO AN OUTSIDER, WITH NO INSURANCE, NO BUSINESS LICENSE, NO STATE TAX LICENSE, NO OFFICE, NO LEGIT BIZ CREDENTIALS, BUT JUST A SMART PHONE AND A DEAL.

CLUB PROMOTERS, WILL REQUIRE, THAT THEY TAKE YOUR DOOR, THEY GET A VIP LIST, THEY GET A BAR TAB, THEY PROVIDE THEIR OWN SECURITY, THEY BRING IN THEIR OWN DJ. IS IT YOUR CLUB OR THEIRS? WATCH OUT FOR MINORS, WATCH OUT, FOR PEOPLE BRINGING IN THEIR OWN SMALL LIQUOR BOTTLES.

WAIVING ANY DRESS CODE, PLAYING COLD HARD "HIP HOP", ALL OF A SUDDEN, YOU DON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE YOUR CLUB. YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE PATRONS, THEY ARE RUDE, CRUDE AND PROBLEMS START ARISING. FIRST FOUL LANGUAGE EVERYWHERE. THEN FIGHTS, THEN DRUG USE.

THEN MINORS, THEN DAMAGE TO YOUR REST ROOMS. THEN THE DJ INCITING THE PATRONS. AGAIN, YOU DON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE YOUR OWN CLUB.THERE IS NO UPSIDE TO EVEN THINKING A CLUB PROMOTER IS YOUR ANSWER.

I CAN TELL YOU AFTER 40 YEARS, THERE'S NO UPSIDE TO CLUB PROMOTERS. IN FACT THE TV SHOW ABOUT "BARS", THE HOST, ASKED THE OWNERS TO NO LONGER USE CLUB PROMOTERS, WHICH THEY DID.

INSTEAD YOU NEED TO, THAT'S RIGHT YOU AS AN OWNER, NEED TO BE HANDS ON AND TAKE YOUR CLUB TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL IN YOUR AREA. DO WHAT NO OTHER CLUB IS DOING. NO, NOT CHEAP DRINKS.

WHY IS YOUR BAR SO OUTDATED?
You sit on a bar stool and ask yourself why is your bar so slow?
Let's start with your atmosphere.
The decor.
The fixtures.
The filthy fans.
The worn out bar top.

The beaten up flooring.

The tacky beer signs.

The confusion behind the bar, the outdated beer taps, the dusty bottles, all the "JUNK" you have by the Registers.
The stickers all over the front door.

The awful sound system.

That poor excuse for a stage, look at what bands perform on?

The big box TVs, and no huge flat screens.

The lack of any, any food at all. ( You don't even need a kitchen or a chef to make thousands in food sales)

The burnt out bartenders.

The wrong crowd you attract.

The lack of taking far more credit cards than cash.

The run down appearance of your Rest Rooms, come on, that's disgusting.

The lack of Craft Beers, how can you ignore this SOARING BEVERAGE REVOLUTION?

The missing lights from your outdoor sign and cut the grass, bring in some plants, put some new LED Lighting in. Give your outside a "LOOK".

WHY IS YOUR BAR, CLUB, RESTAURANT SO DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY?
WHY ARE YOU SODA GUN DISPENSERS FILTHY?
WHY ARE YOUR FLOOR MATS SO STICKY?
WHY ARE YOUR GLASSES SO LOADED WITH A FILM?
WHY IS YOUR SILVERWARE DISGUSTING?
WHY IS YOUR KITCHEN FILLED W GREASE?
WHY IS YOUR GREASE IN YOUR FRYER NOT REPLACED?
WHY IS YOUR WALK SMELL?
WHY IS YOUR FOOD NOT DATED AND WRAPPED PROPERLY?
YOUR STAFF SHOULD BE REPLACED?
IF YOUR STAFF CARED, YOUR SANITARY ISSUES WOULD NOT EXIST. THEY DON'T CARE, SO WHY SHOULD YOU CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYMENT?
IT'S TOO LATE FOR TALKING, FOR WARNINGS, IT'S TIME FOR FRESH NEW STAFF.

     Lounges, Bars, Clubs, Sports Bars, Bar & Grilles, even Gentlemen Clubs, ask your "Corona Beer Vendor" for the new "Corona Beer Extra, Sandwich Board" they just came out with for outside marketing. Don't take "NO" for an answer. If you can order "Corona" every week from your Delivery Person, They can certainly drop off a new Sandwich Board for Advertising. If you have a Problem, call me, let me call your beer vendor. It's very simple, there are so many Craft Beers out there, that are fantastic, that if you were to cancel your "Corona Beer" Order, you could simply replace it with  "Dos Equis" who will give you all the on premise support you ask for. Or start offering a Mexican Craft Beer. Don't be disrespected by any Beer Vendor. Least of all, because you asked for a Sandwich Board with their Beer's name on it and the ability to face to board advertise. You spend $ every week with your Beer and Liquor Vendors, besides signs, posters, what do they provide for you in the way of support, especially now in the MONEY MONTHS?
