Situated on land you own, put up an Above Ground Pool.
Summertime Trends are what you make them.
Bikinis a MUST ! Buy them from us. $75. USA Made two piece Bikinis for just $29 each. Have your Energy Drink Vendor, your Beer Vendor, your Liquor Distributor, your SYSCO REP pay for them.
Then include, Energy Drinks, Beer, Liquor and Food as part of your "HOT WOW In The Summertime",
Bars, Food is vital, you don't even need a kitchen.
Sports Bars, enough with the wings, bring on fresh new ways to taste.
Bars that don't' serve food and don't want to, FINE, just bring in a great tasting Food Truck. Work the deal. Food Trucks are thee Trend, in fact many Restaurants also have their own "Food Trucks", if the foodies are not coming to you, take your food to them.
These Months are all about "FOOD", "FUN", "WOW", "DRINK", "DANCE", "COMPETE", INTERACTION.

 YOU can make excuses, do what you always do, but remember this, while you slow, while your suffering through these Months, others are making fist fulls of CASH.

Far too many Owners, delay, procrastinate, are lazy,

 "This Friday and Saturday the newest DJ to come to _______ DJ _____. He plays oldies- top 40 and takes requests come on down and dance the night away. If you mention this Facebook ad you'll get one complementary drink (one drink per person) Ask about our upcoming sporting events and entertainment night including Monday night trivia with cash prizes" 
 My Response: First, The opening remarks are so outdated and past their prime. Nobody knows who this DJ is, by stating he plays "Oldies",  you scare away "Millennials", they want "FRESH MUSIC" not over played, past due spins.
"If you mention this Face Book ad, we will give you a free drink"? Are you that desperate for business?
Then you want your Guests to ask about your Upcoming Sporting Events, when they should already be posted, but you don't even have a web site. You don't even list them on your Face Book page?
Monday Night is "Trivia Night", with "cash prizes"? But what are the CASH PRIZES?
In these Craft Beer Foam Fights, nobody should have to ask anything about your Format. You should provide visual, video, exciting special graphics, but you simply operate like it's 1989.
You don't give anyone a free drink for mentioning they saw this on Face Book, where else are they going to see it?
You have no Twitter, no Pinterest, no youtube videos, and again, you have no Web Site.
How can any viable Bar, Restaurant, Bar & Grille, Sports Bar, Gastropub, ( although I upped the concept to "GastroDancePub") Gentlemen's Club, Lounge, Pool Bar, Beach Bar, not have a Web Site in 2015? How can you ignore Social Media Marketing?
How can you ignore every single Holiday that adds thousands of dollars to your cash flow?
How can you let your business go down and not contact me to turn it around ASAP?
That's why so many of you sadly go out of business.

Hi Rich, HELP! I'm just starting hosting events at a nightclub that hasn't been getting very much business. I do all of the promotion/ marketing. Problem is, I have little to no experience. We split the cover and the Owner makes his money from the bar. Thanks, James

MY RESPONSE:JAMES, YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN PROMOTION, MARKETING, SOCIAL MEDIA.
I WANT TO TALK STRAIGHT UP TO YOU.
YOU ARE HURTING, NOT HELPING THIS CLUB.
NOBODY IS SHOWING UP.
NOBODY IS SPENDING.
NO BEAUTIFUL WOMEN ARE FREQUENTING THIS CLUB.
YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO PACK A CLUB, THAT YOU ARE OVERWHELMED BY IT'S SIZE AND IT'S ABILITY TO EVEN OPERATE.
You should have had your Owner contact me, because you are doing him a great injustice, and you are placing your ego over the concern you should have for this club, that your in over your head. Stop with the ego and start with being honest to yourself. Your not ready for this yet.

  Then another Young 22 year old wanna be club promoter contacts me, "Rich I want to be a club promoter".
Timothy is located in a major City, that has a very competitive Club enviornment.
  I ask him what experience, what knowledge, what background, what work he has done to prepare him to have a Club Owner entrust him with his Club for a night?
He responds, "NONE". Again, "EGO", over shadows common sense and self respect for yourself. Your not ready. Your not prepared. Your not a club promoter in any sense of the so called job title. I tell him to start as a "Bar Back" cleaning glasses, washing floors, throwing out garbage, doing all the grunt work.
 Then, go to Bartending School, learn how to be a Bartender. Work behind the Bar. Learn your customer.
Then, work the door as a Host, dress up not down. Welcome Guests into the Club, double check for minors, enforce a dress code, wand down potential troublemakers. Yes, it is perfectly legal and saves guests from being hurt or worse.Then, learn how to DJ. Ask Club DJs to let you observe, watch, learn, how to spin, mix, sample, pack the dance floor.
Watch what attracts Women to the dance floor and what empties a dance floor.
Then you take over the wheels of steel on a weeknight and show the Club DJ, what you have.
Finally, you want to be a Club Manager, you want to be responsible for overseeing the club's entire operation.
This entire process should take a full year.
That's right a year.
Once you have all these different duties down pat, you can make a play for promoting a week night.
As for what it takes to be successful at this challenge,that is up to you. I don't advise, consult or direct so called "club promoters". Every Club Owner, Club Manager, and their entire staff can do a far better Social Media Marketing "Blitz", a much more powerful Promoting "Reach" and a Superior Presentation than any so called club promoter.
