Your Floor is so worn out, why do you ignore it?
Your Beer Signs, Neons are all outdated, why do you even leave them up?
Your Bar Top is beaten, how do you serve on it?
Your ice machine is not producing enough ice, it's outdated, why do you run out of ice so early and have to buy bags of ice?
You don't have enough Flat Screens, they are so inexpensive, why don't you buy more?
Your "Open Mic", "Karaoke", "Darts", "Trivia" are all so Predictable, attract the same two beer Customers weekly, why not "ENERGIZE your Format and come of AGE?
 The time is NOW. You have operated in a World of "DENIAL" for way too long.
Isn't it time to "INVIGORATE YOUR BAR                                          NOW?

Hello Rich, I have a Bowling Center, with not 1 but 2 bars, & a restaurant.
I know the "Bowling Business down to every Strike.
But, I am not doing anywhere near the business I should with my bars or restaurant. Why not? Regards,Lucas

MY RESPONSE:
           Lucas, your simply catering to your Bowling Customers.
I studied your web site, your Face Book site, you have no other Social Media Presence, which is a major mistake.
Your web site, just focuses on Bowling Night Specials.
You offer nothing in the way of "Nightlife in your bars".
Your Restaurant is a "Fried Food Fest", you totally ignore locally grown produce, fresh not frozen delivered foods. Your Menu is outdated.
Your Staff wears street clothes, why?
You have no dance floor.
You have no stage.
Your Entertainment just performs from a corner of one of the bars.
You have no "Game Plan", you have no Nightly Format, that goes way beyond being a "Bowling Center". Your bars are beautiful, as is your Restaurant.
It's not like you need to be rescued, but you do need to be "INVIGORATED".
There are so many areas of improvement above and beyond the beautiful decor.
That is ideal. The rest of your food & beverage operation is totally off the tracks. I realize for now Bowling is your bread and butter, but....... The " REAL $ " is in the liquor.Lucas, When the Bowling ends, "The Beats" should begin. But right now, you have nothing going on. I would welcome the opportunity to "PACK" that Bowling Center, when the Leagues end and the "FUN" begins.

WHO TO HIRE, HOW TO HIRE GOOD STAFF?
  Simple, never use Craigslist. A Major "NO NO".
Why? Because it brings out "EVERYBODY", Good, Bad and Unknown.
 There are two ways to hire good Bartenders.
A. Contact local Bartending Schools, ask them to recommend to their best Students, to consider applying for employment at your bar, club, bar & grille, gentlemen's club, sports bar. What a pleasure it is, to hire brand new bartenders who don't know the bad habits that far too often, bartenders have. You can train, mold and tweak these "Virgin Bartenders" to fit your bar.  

B. Recruiting the Best Bartenders that work at other establishments in your Community. In the Business World, the recruiters are called "HEAD HUNTERS". They make no bones about going right after great Management at other Companies, only to lure them to the Company they have been retained by.
You send in someone who passes your business card to the Bartender you want, with the simple note on the back " I want you to work for me".
You don't want bartenders that have gone through 3 jobs in one year. But you do want Bartenders that have a great following, that you have observed behind the bar, staying focused on their customers, not even looking @ their cell phones. Not even leaving their bar to take a "Smoke Break", but rather, totally fixated on making their bar $. They are very personable, they are very neat, clean, and polite. They keep their bar super clean. They are the ideal bartender you should have. This happens every day with 70,000 Food and Beverage, Beverage Only Establishments in the USA.
 Me, I prefer only Females behind the bar. Why? They just make a bar more friendly, more relaxed, they generate more pours. Be Careful Hiring, do background checks online before you even approach any bartender. For $35 you can find out the entire Credit/Arrest/Background History on anyone, online. It's well worth the cost. Know before you even approach, who you are seeking?

Let's Face It!
The most Successful Bars, Clubs, Sports Bars Gentlemen Clubs, Bar & Grilles, Restaurants, are the Venues that always have a Promotion going on.

I don't mean "Panic Price Promotions", I do mean as I always advise, "FUN", "WOW FACTORS", "FAB".

It's not about resting on your laurels, that you have the best drinks, great food. WHO CARES?
That's called "Institutional Branding", it's boring.

When you are a "WORLD OF BEERS", Location, and instead of the same Bands, same Format, you roll out "WOW FACTORS", you bring in brand new faces, you generate new found revenue, you broaden your base, you expand your format, you become more than just a "BEER BONANZA", you are a new Night Life Adventure.
  But, Owners, Managers are so consumed with the day to day, night to night operational responsibilities, the last thought on their mind is "FRESH FUN".
"WOW FACTORS" are not an overnight sensation.
 They take the Time, the Effort, the Dedication, The Tenacity, The Relentlessness, to Roll Out Successfully.
 99% of Owners, Managers are overwhelmed just making sure Staff shows up, and the doors open, how can they expected to be "CREATIVE"?
They can't.
BUT I CAN AND I DO.
I DON'T HAVE THE WORRIES, THE DRAMA, THE HEADACHES, THE STRESS.
ALL I KNOW HOW TO DO IS PACK BARS, CLUBS, SPORTS BARS, BAR & GRILLES, RESTAURANTS with NIGHTLIFE, GENTLEMEN CLUBS, BEACH BARS, HOTEL POOL BARS, It's so EASY for me.
