The more effort you put in to this Marvelous, "PARTY HEARTY" Holiday. There is NO REASON, not to celebrate both "Fat Tuesday" and The Weekend that follows. To those Owners who don't see the Cash Crush this Holiday can and will generate, it's your loss. 
"Fat Tuesday" falls on Feb. 9th, so TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.
Your Beer Vendors, Your Liquor Distributors, Your Energy Drink Suppliers ALL HAVE "MARDI GRAS POS". Don't just ask, but "DEMAND THEIR SUPPORT".
Quite often, they cater to their "BIG ACCOUNTS" but ignore their small accounts, even though small bars, still order every week, still pay every invoice, yet the support they receive is next to ZILCH.
I call the Vendor, speak to the Sales Manager, go over his or her head. I have "ZERO TOLERANCE FOR NO HOLIDAY SUPPORT".
There is simply no excuse for this lack of respect.

   As for Social Media Maximum Marketing. You must design a Powerful Video Flyer, posted on twitter, youtube, Facebook, Instagram and of course your own Web Site, as soon as you can create it and make it. This is paramount to having thousands and thousands of dollars day/night.
If you can erect a green and white stripe tent outside do it. Simply put decorated tables/chairs under it. 
The Colors of Mardi Gras are Gold, Purple and Green.
Take the weekend that follows "Fat Tuesday" and format a " MARDI GRAS MASK WEEKEND", Wear a Mardi Gras Mask & Beads", Win "Mardi Gras Premier Prizes".
I have given you more than the basics to the holding one of your biggest days/nights of entire year. PLAN, PROMOTE, PUMP, PRESENT, THIS HOLIDAY.
NOW, TAKE MY EXPERTISE AND IMPLEMENT IT.

Take your Bar in your Community, your numbers are "OK", but not great.

There are only so many people above and beyond your "REGULARS", who go out at night.

Women don't even come in on a consistent basis.
Why?
Because you don't make your bar comfortable, safe, secure, sizzling, steady with "BEATS".
You let anyone at 10pm dressed any way they want to enter.
Instead of cleaning up your "Bar's ACT", you just are interested in putting butts in bar stools.

When you let your bar, become run down, and it just turns into a "dive bar", you bring in the wrong customers, for all the wrong reasons.
It's 2016, but your still operating your "BAR" like it's 1996.
Why are you always behind the times, instead of ahead of the rest?
You watch enough of "That Bar Show", to see Owners who have hit rock bottom.
Owners who don't care anymore.
Owners who at one time were on top, and now...............are in the pits.
You think to yourself, is that me, am I on the way to the ABYSS? 
Why Not REBRAND, REINVENT, RENEW, REFRESH, REMAKE your bar?
It's all I know how to do.
Stop wasting time. Stop losing money, Stop giving your customers to your competition.
Stop wasting your $ on radio, is anyone, anyone coming in, are you even breaking even from what you are spending?

    FINALLY,MY FATHER , MORTY UNGER, MY MENTOR, MY IDOL, MY REASON FOR EVEN BEING IN THIS INDUSTRY, HAS PASSED AWAY.
 FROM THE SHOE BUSINESS, "ANSONIA SHOES", TO THE RANCH RESORT, "SUNNYCROFT PONDEROSA, TO THE NYC RESTAURANT," IL SOL LE", TO THE POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA, "THE RED CARPET", NIGHTCLUB/RESTAURANT, TO THE "STEAK PUB" IN FORT LAUDERDALE, MY DAD WAS ALWAYS SUCCESSFUL.
HE HAD A PASSION FOR THIS BUSINESS.
A FIRE IN HIS BELLY.
HE HAD ME START BY CLEANING OUT HORSE STALLS, WALKING SWEATY HORSES TO COOL THEM DOWN, HIS TRAIL RIDES WERE INFAMOUS FOR THE THRILLS HE GAVE THE RIDERS THAT FOLLOWED HIM.
AT HIS NIGHTCLUB, I PARKED CARS, WORKED THE SPOTLIGHT ON HIS HEADLINING ACTS, HELPED PREPARE THE "PRIME RIBS" EVERY MORNING, MY FATHER WORKED ALMOST EVERY DAY AND NIGHT,
HE WAS A PEOPLE PERSON.
HE WAS THE CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL.
HE EXPECTED NO EMPLOYEE TO DO ANYTHING, HE WOULD NOT DO AND HE DID THEIR WORK.
MY FATHER WAS MY "HERO".
WHEN I BOUGHT MY FIRST HUGE NIGHTCLUB WITH MY PARTNER VICTOR, WE FLEW MY FATHER UP TO GIVE US HIS EXPERTISE.
HE INSTRUCTED US BOTH TO HAVE LEGAL PADS AND A PEN READY TO WRITE.
AS HE WALKED THROUGH OUR NIGHTCLUB, THAT WAS A DISCO, BUT DISCO WAS DYING, BECAUSE        " SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER "  HAD RUN IT'S COURSE, AND JOHN TRAVOLTA WAS NOW STARRING IN "URBAN COWBOY", SO THAT OUR MAIN COMPETITION CHANGED THEIR IRISH FORMAT TO BE KNOWN AS "COWBOY". MY FATHER, I WILL NEVER FORGET SAID " THE ODDS OF TAKING A CLUB ON IT'S WAY DOWN, AND TURNING IT AROUND ARE 10% OUT OF 100%."
RIGHT AT THAT MOMENT,  I KNEW, I WAS GOING TO BE IN THAT 10%.
I AND MY PARTNER DID IMPLEMENT EVERY SINGLE CHANGE, DYNAMIC, ELEMENT, MY DAD HAD POINTED OUT TO US.
BEYOND HIS EXPERTISE, I WAS DETERMINED TO RULE THE NIGHTLIFE ON THE WEST COAST OF FLORIDA.
FOR ONE FULL YEAR, OUR CLUB WAS THE #1 LIQUOR AND BEER ON PREMISE ESTABLISHMENT.
WE WORKED 24/7 PACKING OUR CLUB.
WE BOTH WORKED EVERY DAY.
NO DAY OFF.
WE PUT A LINE OUTSIDE OUR CLUB FOUR NIGHTS A WEEK.
WE FOCUSED ON EVERY SINGLE DETAIL OF THE CLUB, NO MATTER HOW SMALL, WE FIXED IT, REPLACED IT, REMODELED IT.
WE PUT A "YELLOW LIGHTENING BOLT" ON OUR CANOPIES AT OUR FRONT ENTRANCES, WE PUT "YELLOW LIGHTENING BOLTS IN OUR BLACK TILE FLOOR. IT WAS OUR SYMBOL OF "A NEW  CLUB, THAT WAS REBORN AFTER IT WAS FAILING.

A YEAR LATER,WE SOLD THE CLUB FOR $100,000 MORE THAN WE PAID FOR IT.
OUR "SOUTHERN WINE AND SPIRITS" SALESMAN TOLD US, MANY OF HIS OTHER ACCOUNTS WERE SAYING, " THANK GOD THEY ARE OUT, NOW WE ALL CAN MAKE SOME $".
I OWE ALL OF MY SUCCESSES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO MY FATHER.
HE WAS TRULY LARGER THAN LIFE.
I LOVE YOU DAD, I MISS YOU EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY. I HOPE I MET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, BECAUSE YOUR  ADMIRATION FOR MY ACHIEVEMENTS MEANT THE WORLD TO ME.
