Who are you going to reach? Ask to see the latest "ARBITRON RATINGS BOOK", Not the TAPSCANS. NO, not the print outs, you want to see the actual BOOK, to look at just who is listening at what time of day, and for how long. Because RADIO is no longer the Club Savior. It's now the "Club STINKER". Because it just does not work.
Stop paying in advance, stop letting the usual in house Station DJ do your spot, do buy any spot less than 60 seconds long, but no station will sell you those length spots, because they lose listeners. So, they push 30 second or even 15 second spots on you, that NOBODY REMEMBERS.
Use a so called "club promoter",
There is no such person. What they do is take your $, bring their friends, and their friends, friends. They attract the wrong crowd, very few women, wrong music is spun, often, minors are allowed in, way too often, they sneak their own liquor in.
You rely on total strangers, with no web site of their own, no business license, no insurance, no office, no elements of being in a legitimate business, to pack your club? If you can't saturate Social Media, if you can't attract "Hot Women and Men who Spend", if you can't run your own Club, why do you own one? You rely on, depend on, count on people who have no loyalty just one priority, taking as much of your $ as possible for as little investment on their part.
Hiring new Bartenders,
The Best Bartenders to hire are fresh out of "Bartending School", before they are taught, or learn the bad habits of Bartending. The other Best Bartenders to hire, are those ones you steal away from stable, solid, well run bars, clubs, restaurants, that have zero tolerance for any kind of hiding sales, over pouring, giving away the bar. Very Simple Methods to keep a tight pour on your Bartenders.
But, never hire a Bartender who has worked at more than 2 establishments in one year. NEVER.
Always hire Female Bartenders, they have a major tendency to ring up far more than Male Bartenders do. Yup, I have proven it over 40 years in this business.
When you have lame, lazy, loose Bartenders, cut their schedules back to 1 day a week. Let them quit, rather than fire them. Always give a good recommendation, do deny anyone a future.
Opening Wednesday Nights,
is a scary proposition for so many Nightclub Owners, because they have no "FUN FORMAT" TO FEATURE. BUT, Here's the secret.
Do what you "Don't do on every other Night you are open".
Don't just feature a DJ.

thurs 30 and up.Fri we doing happy hour from 4pm to 8pm
following by night life. Sat is 9pm to 1:30am planning on booking b day parties
Tues is $2 Tues which successful the first night
we only have been open 3 weeks. We attract 25 and up expect Tues its attracts 21 and up
women vs men i would say 60/40 We don't really offer drink specials
i am the manager. its a brand new spot .. but the previous spot, called _____________had a bad name

MY RESPONSE: BRAD, WHEN YOU TAKE OVER THE HELM OF A PLACE THAT UNDER IT'S PREVIOUS NAME, HAD A HORRIBLE REPUTATION, YOU HAVE TO REINVENT THE PLACE. How can you NOT have a WEB SITE, a Facebook Page, Videos, Twitter, especially, since your place is viewed in a very negative light?
Of course you have a DJ, every Club does. Why would you put "Live Music" on Wednesday Nights?

You cater to 30 and up year olds on Thursdays, Friday you host Happy Hours from 4pm to 8pm, when it should be till 9pm. Then you go into your Nightlife.
Saturdays you want to focus on "Birthday Parties"????
You should be packed Saturday Nights, "Birthday Parties" should be a side dynamic. Not The Focus.
Tuesday is $2, AND is successful, of course it is. $2, Look @ the element of patron you attract?
You are only open three weeks, you attract 25 and up, you have 60/40 Women over Men, but you state you "don't really offer drink specials", when Tuesdays are all about $2.??????
Your the Manager, the establishment is located in the heart of the area, but your dying.
I think you need EXPERTISE, in fact I know you do.
