YOU'VE HAD LOCAL BANDS TELL YOU THEY HAVE A HUGE FOLLOWING, BUT, BECAUSE THEY PLAY EVERYWHERE, YOU CAN'T EVEN COLLECT A COVER CHARGE, TO COVER THEIR COST.

2. "THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING", ONE OF THE BIGGEST NIGHTS OF THE ENTIRE YEAR, IF YOU STOP WITH THE CHEAP DRINKS, EVEN CHEAPER BEER, AND SAME BANDS, BUT RATHER TAKE A NEW APPROACH. YOU WANT TO OWN THIS NIGHT.
3. "THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE", WHAT A HOLIDAY HOT NIGHT THIS IS. WHEN YOU CAPITALIZE ON THE HOLIDAY, BUT GIVE YOUR PATRONS, FUN, FAB, WOW, ALL IN THE SAME NIGHT, YOU ARE PACKED, WITH A LINE OUTSIDE.
4. FINALLY "NEW YEAR'S EVE", THIS IS YOUR BIGGEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR, YOU SHOULD BE SOLD OUT A WEEK PRIOR TO NYE.
DON'T DO THE USUAL, THIS YEAR, KNOCK THEIR SOCKS OFF, WITH A FRESH NEW CONCEPT, THAT NOBODY ELSE IN YOUR COMMUNITY HAS EVER THOUGHT OF. MAKE THIS THE BIGGEST, THE BEST NIGHT YOU HAVE EVER HAD.
BUT, ALL OF THESE VERY, UNIQUE, SPECIAL, NIGHTS, TAKE A FULL MONTH OF ADVANCE BRANDING, MARKETING, ADVERTISING, BOTH IN HOUSE AND SOCIAL MEDIA AS WELL AS FREE "MAINSTREAM MEDIA", YES, I SAID FREE.

A NIGHTCLUB SHOULD BE OPEN WITH A LINE OUTSIDE ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT. BUT IN ALL THREE CASES, THIS RARELY HAPPENS, BECAUSE OWNERS JUST DON'T GET IT.
AN OWNER CONTACTS ME IN A MAJOR CITY WHERE THERE ARE OVER 14 CURRENT SPORTS BARS OPERATING, AND HE THINKS HE HAS WHAT NONE OF THEM DO. HIS FOOD WILL BE EXCEPTIONAL, HE WILL HAVE THE BIGGEST SCREENS, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FEMALE SERVERS, I SAID TO HIM " SO WHAT, MANY OF THESE CURRENT OPERATIONS HAVE ALL OF THAT AND FAR MORE".
THE LARGEST SPORTS BAR IN CHICAGO CONTACTED ME YEARS AGO, TO "RESET HIS SPORTS BAR". HE WAS STILL DOING EXCELLENT BIZ, BUT HE WANTED A FRESH NEW RECHARGED PERCEPTION.
I DID IT.
I LOVED DOING IT.
HE HAD AN OPEN MIND, HE KNEW IT WAS TIME FOR A "RESET" AND HE ACCEPTED IT.
AND HEY, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A "SPORTS BAR" TO PACK IN CROWDS FOR COLLEGE AND NFL GAMES.
WHAT YOU DO NEED ARE SCREENS, COMFORTABLE SEATING, A GREAT WINGS & BEYOND MENU, WIDE SELECTION OF BEERS/CRAFT,
AND PLENTY OF ROOM.
I PACKED A RESTAURANT/NIGHTCLUB IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA, ON SUNDAYS, WITH "BUFFALO BILLS FANS", WE HAD A HUGE SIGN MADE, THAT READ " THE BUFFALO BILLS PLAY HERE", WE MOUNTED IT ON A TRUCK SO IT WAS NOT IN VIOLATION OF ANY LOCAL SIGN ORDINANCES, IT LOOKED AS IF IT WERE PAINTED ON THE TRUCK.
WE HAD THE "BEEF ON WECK", THE "WINGS", "THE SAUCES", "THE ROLLS", ALL THE FOODS SHIPPED IN FROM BUFFALO EVERY WEEK.
WE HAD TRIVIA ON "BUFFALO BILLS TEAM", AND GAVE AWAY CERTIFIED "BUFFALO BILLS MERCHANDISE". THE OWNER WAS FROM BUFFALO AND HE LOVED THE CONCEPT, AND EVEN MORE THE CROWDS AND THE CASH FLOW THAT CAME IN. HE WAS TOTALLY RECEPTIVE TO MY ENTIRE CONCEPT. WE USED SOCIAL MEDIA AT "PEDAL TO THE METAL" SPEED EVERY WEEK.
YOU CAN SIT ON THE SIDELINES THIS FOOTBALL SEASON AND JUST LET EVERY OTHER PLACE SCORE, OR YOU CAN GET IN THE GAME AND PLAY.
BUT, YOU FIND THESE KIND OF OWNERS FAR AND FEW.
BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT AFRAID OF DOING WHAT THEY HAVE NEVER EVER DONE BEFORE, BUT IN A CONSTRUCTIVE WAY, THAT IS VERY DISCIPLINED, SO THAT IT SCORES A TOUCHDOWN EVERY SUNDAY.

The Chain is seeing significant declines in customer visits, customer spending, customer loyalty.
Whereas , it use to be People just flocked to their local "HOOTERS", for wings, for beer, for the friendliness of the Young Ladies. But no longer.
For far too long, "HOOTERS" stayed the same.
The Bar Format.
The Outside Appearance.
"HOOTERS" had a nice ride of Success for years and years. But those days are fast disappearing.
This Generation wants "FRESH", they want "CHANGE", they want "DIFFERENT", and of course, they want "WOW".
So, "HOOTERS" is "RESETTING" it's image with a total make-over taking selective major under performing Locations, and giving them the "PRESTO", "HOOTERS IS HOT AGAIN", REDO.
I have said for years, that wood, that uniform, that menu, those beers, that bar set up, the stools and atmosphere was just so out of touch.
The Old "Golden Rule", that having Pretty Young Ladies, is an instant attraction is not the "RULE" anymore.
I'm not picking on "HOOTERS", I am stating the FACTS of Chains that remained STAGNANT, when their TOP Management should have had the vision to realize they better be ahead of the "Wings", not behind them.
