YOU FEATURE A DIFFERENT DJ FOUR NIGHTS A WEEK , FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH.

   THE CHOICES ARE SO DIVERSE, SO VARIED, THAT YOU CAN AND SHOULD PLAN A DIFFERENT THEME EACH WEEK, THAT LASTS THAT ENTIRE SEVEN DAYS.
THIS IS YOUR "STAND OUT MONTH". STOP BEING IN THE SHADOWS OF SO MANY COMPETING BARS, CLUBS, SPORTS BARS, LOUNGES, HOTEL BARS, POOL BARS, AND START BEING THE LEADER, NOT THE FOLLOWER.
THIS IS NOT A MONTH FOR "LADIES NIGHTS", WHERE LADIES DRINK FREE. WHY? EVERY, EVERY, EVERY LADY KNOWS HOW TO ASK A MAN TO BUY HER A DRINK, WHY ON EARTH DOES THE BAR HAVE TO INCUR THAT EXPENSE?
ANSWER: IT DOESN'T.
WHY ARE YOU STILL HOSTING "KARAOKE"?
IT'S OVER WITH.
IS THERE A TV SHOW FEATURING "KARAOKE", THAT IS ON NETWORK OR EVEN CABLE TV?
ANSWER: NO.
THIS IS NOT A MONTH FOR BASICS, IT'S A MONTH FOR BLAST OFFS.
YOU'VE DONE ALL THE BASIC PROMOTIONS, YOU'VE HAD CLUB PROMOTERS PROMISE YOU THE WORLD, AND DELIVER EMPTY SPACE.
YOU'VE HAD LOCAL BANDS TELL  YOU THEY HAVE A HUGE FOLLOWING, BUT, BECAUSE THEY PLAY EVERYWHERE, YOU CAN'T EVEN COLLECT A COVER CHARGE, TO COVER THEIR COST.
THE REASON YOUR PLACE IS 'SLIPPIN INTO DARKNESS AND EMPTINESS", IS BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT REASON AFTER REASON AFTER REASON TO COME IN, TO BRING THEIR FRIENDS, AND TO COME BACK TIME AFTER TIME.
 YET, YOU CONTINUE TO PLAY IT SAFE AND THE RESULTS ARE DISMAL.
I CAN TELL FROM THE SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE OF A BAR, CLUB, IF THEY ARE DOING WELL OR NOT.
I CAN SEE FROM THEIR WEB SITE AND THEIR FACE BOOK PAGE IS THEY VALUES THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA?
YOU HAVE THE BIGGEST NIGHTS OF THIS YEAR COMING RIGHT AT YOU:

1. "HALLOWEEN", WHICH FALLS ON A TUESDAY, BUT YOU CELEBRATE IT ON THE SATURDAY BEFORE. DO NOT JUST HOST A COSTUME CONTEST, NO, NO, NO, NO...................THERE ARE SO MANY MORE ELEMENTS TO THE NIGHT, TO HAVE GUESTS ARRIVE EARLY AND THEN, STAY ALL NIGHT LONG..............................

2. "THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING", ONE OF THE BIGGEST NIGHTS OF THE ENTIRE YEAR, IF YOU STOP WITH THE CHEAP DRINKS, EVEN CHEAPER BEER, AND SAME BANDS, BUT RATHER TAKE A NEW APPROACH. YOU WANT TO OWN THIS NIGHT.

3. "THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE", WHAT A HOLIDAY HOT NIGHT THIS IS. WHEN YOU CAPITALIZE ON THE HOLIDAY, BUT GIVE YOUR PATRONS, FUN, FAB, WOW, ALL IN THE SAME NIGHT, YOU ARE PACKED, WITH A LINE OUTSIDE.

4. FINALLY "NEW YEAR'S EVE", THIS IS YOUR BIGGEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR, YOU SHOULD BE SOLD OUT A WEEK PRIOR TO NYE.
DON'T DO THE USUAL, THIS YEAR, KNOCK THEIR SOCKS OFF, WITH A FRESH NEW CONCEPT, THAT NOBODY ELSE IN YOUR COMMUNITY HAS EVER THOUGHT OF. MAKE THIS THE BIGGEST, THE BEST NIGHT YOU HAVE EVER HAD.

BUT, ALL OF THESE VERY, UNIQUE, SPECIAL, NIGHTS, TAKE A FULL MONTH OF ADVANCE BRANDING, MARKETING, ADVERTISING, BOTH IN HOUSE AND SOCIAL MEDIA AS WELL AS FREE "MAINSTREAM MEDIA", YES, I SAID FREE.
YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO, WHEN TO, WHERE TO, WHY TO, WHAT TO ADAPT "WOW" TO IN YOUR EXECUTION OF THE ADVANCE STRATEGIES, OF THE POWER POINT SOCIAL MEDIA, OF THE IN HOUSE VISUAL CAPTIVATION, AND OF THE ACTUAL NIGHT'S PROMOTION.
WAY TOO MANY OWNERS, TAKE FAR TOO MUCH FOR GRANTED.
THEY RELY ON OTHERS, BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO LAZY, THEY FEEL THEY CAN'T DO IT, THEY DON'T WANT TO TO DO IT, WELL, GUESS WHAT, EVERY OWNER SHOULD GRASP WHAT IT TAKES TO PACK THEIR PLACE. YOU SEE A "SPORTS BAR", SHOULD BE PACKED EVEN WHEN THERE'S NO SPORTS ON. A "GENTLEMAN'S CLUB" SHOULD BE JAMMED WITH SPENDERS, EVEN WHEN IT'S USUALLY A SLOW NIGHT. A NIGHTCLUB SHOULD BE OPEN WITH A LINE OUTSIDE ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT. BUT IN ALL THREE CASES, THIS RARELY HAPPENS, BECAUSE OWNERS JUST DON'T GET IT.
 AN OWNER CONTACTS ME IN A MAJOR CITY WHERE THERE ARE OVER 14 CURRENT SPORTS BARS OPERATING, AND HE THINKS HE HAS WHAT NONE OF THEM DO. HIS FOOD WILL BE EXCEPTIONAL, HE WILL HAVE THE BIGGEST SCREENS, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FEMALE SERVERS, I SAID TO HIM " SO WHAT, MANY OF THESE CURRENT OPERATIONS HAVE ALL OF THAT AND FAR MORE".
 THE LARGEST SPORTS BAR IN CHICAGO CONTACTED ME YEARS AGO, TO "RESET HIS SPORTS BAR". HE WAS STILL DOING EXCELLENT BIZ, BUT HE WANTED A FRESH NEW RECHARGED PERCEPTION.
I DID IT.
I LOVED DOING IT.
HE HAD AN OPEN MIND, HE KNEW IT WAS TIME FOR A "RESET" AND HE ACCEPTED IT.
 AND HEY, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A "SPORTS BAR" TO PACK IN CROWDS FOR COLLEGE AND NFL GAMES.
 WHAT YOU DO NEED ARE SCREENS, COMFORTABLE SEATING, A GREAT WINGS & BEYOND MENU, WIDE SELECTION OF BEERS/CRAFT,
AND PLENTY OF ROOM.
I PACKED A RESTAURANT/NIGHTCLUB IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA, ON SUNDAYS, WITH "BUFFALO BILLS FANS", WE HAD A HUGE SIGN MADE, THAT READ " THE BUFFALO BILLS PLAY HERE", WE MOUNTED IT ON A TRUCK SO IT WAS NOT IN VIOLATION OF ANY LOCAL SIGN ORDINANCES, IT LOOKED AS IF IT WERE PAINTED ON THE TRUCK.
 WE HAD THE "BEEF ON WECK", THE "WINGS", "THE SAUCES", "THE ROLLS", ALL THE FOODS SHIPPED IN FROM BUFFALO EVERY WEEK.
 WE HAD TRIVIA ON "BUFFALO BILLS TEAM", AND GAVE AWAY CERTIFIED "BUFFALO BILLS MERCHANDISE". THE OWNER WAS FROM BUFFALO AND HE LOVED THE CONCEPT, AND EVEN MORE THE CROWDS AND THE CASH FLOW THAT CAME IN. HE WAS TOTALLY RECEPTIVE TO MY ENTIRE CONCEPT. WE USED SOCIAL MEDIA AT "PEDAL TO THE METAL" SPEED EVERY WEEK.
 YOU CAN SIT ON THE SIDELINES THIS FOOTBALL SEASON AND JUST LET EVERY OTHER PLACE SCORE, OR YOU CAN GET IN THE GAME AND PLAY.
BUT, YOU FIND THESE KIND OF OWNERS FAR AND FEW.
BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT AFRAID OF DOING WHAT THEY HAVE NEVER EVER DONE BEFORE, BUT IN A CONSTRUCTIVE WAY, THAT IS VERY DISCIPLINED, SO THAT IT SCORES A TOUCHDOWN EVERY SUNDAY.

YOU CAN LAY OVER AND SIMPLY REST ON YOUR LAURELS, OR JUST QUIT IN THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE BUSINESS.
 PEPSI AND COKE ARE GETTING SLAMMED WITH A MAJOR SLOW DOWN IN SODA SALES, SO THEY GO AND ACQUIRE THE HOT WATER BRANDS, AND "RTD" BRANDS, AS WELL AS A FEW ENERGY DRINKS.
YOU NEVER EVER LET ANYONE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS.
YOU ALWAYS GO ON THE OFFENSIVE.
YOU NEVER EVER WANT TO BE ON THE DEFENSIVE.
THESE ARE TRULY "THE MONEY MONTHS", THE UPCOMING HOLIDAYS ARE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR PLACE TO FINALLY "ARRIVE". TO DO WHAT YOU NEVER HAVE BEFORE, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE WANT. YOUR IMAGE, PERCEPTION, REPUTATION IS SO STALE, AND YOU KNOW IT. WHY CONTINUE TO LOSE TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS?

"HOOTERS" IS FACING A MAJOR CHALLENGE!
The Chain is seeing significant declines in customer visits, customer spending, customer loyalty.
Whereas , it use to be People just flocked to their local "HOOTERS", for wings, for beer, for the friendliness of the Young Ladies. But no longer.
For far too long, "HOOTERS" stayed the same.
The Decor.
The Menu.
The Atmosphere.
The Uniforms.
The Bar Format.
The Outside Appearance.
"HOOTERS" had a nice ride of Success for years and years. But those days are fast disappearing.
This Generation wants "FRESH", they want "CHANGE", they want "DIFFERENT", and of course, they want "WOW".
So, "HOOTERS" is "RESETTING" it's image with a total make-over taking selective major under performing Locations, and giving them the "PRESTO", "HOOTERS IS HOT AGAIN", REDO.
 I have said for years, that wood, that uniform, that menu, those beers, that bar set up, the stools and atmosphere was just so out of touch.
The Old "Golden Rule", that having Pretty Young Ladies, is an instant attraction is not the "RULE" anymore.
I'm not picking on "HOOTERS", I am stating the FACTS of Chains that remained STAGNANT, when their TOP Management should have had the vision to realize they better be ahead of the "Wings", not behind them.
They should have contacted RichUnger@promotingnightclubs.com and I can assure you, they would have been an exciting chain, rather than one that is just drifting along.

So Many People Want To Open a Bar, Club, Gentleman's Club, Sports Bar, but they have no fully realized what they are about to get into.
The Investment, The Hours, The Drama, The Stress, The Competition, The Staffing, The Day To Night Operating.
This is not the kind of business "Everybody" should go into.
Sure, there is plenty of cash to be made.
Serious Money to be had.
But it takes a consistent style of operating, that way too many Owners have no clue about.
So, they invest, they open, and then they sit. And the sit, And they sit.
Because, their location, their sign, their name, their atmosphere, their image, their total disaster on Social Media, their awful Grand Opening, and now they have what they thought was going to be a "Dream Come True" only to be a "Nightmare They Wish They Never Had".

 The most common awful experience is the new Owner, who hires somebody who said "I Know It All" and they give them free reign to run their place.
What happens is, this so called "Know It All", knows, shouldn't you be the one calling the Shots?
This happens every week of every month of every year.
More places close due to lack of management, poor marketing, awful service, terrible atmosphere, and the most unfriendly of people.
Don't throw your money at your EGO, put it wisely in a place that is ready to ROLL.
How do you know, I do, after 40 years in this Biz.
I eat, sleep and breathe it, you have to learn it as you go,which is the worse way to start.
It's October, time for the "Money Months" to begin.
