More People are eating @ home now than ever before.
The Challenge for eateries is not the actual delivery service, they can use 'Grub hub", or any other local Food Delivery Service in your area.
The Challenge is choosing which items are taste as if the Customers are enjoying the food at your establishment and not at home or where ever the food is being delivered to.
You cannot, you should not offer your entire menu for delivery service.
The Key is to pick the items that are the fastest to prepare, that tastes the great and that when your customers are delivered your items, simply put, "THEY TASTE GREAT".
The other Key is also in the packaging you use.
You need to test out what works and what ruins your food.
But not just lunch, you need to branch out and deliver dinner as well.
Competition is too fierce to simply ignore delivery.
As I have said in the past, I see a local "Jimmy John's" with at least ten different bikes parked outside for delivery all day, all night.
In days gone bye, everyone looked to go out and enjoy their meals.
But with "Applebee's", taking $10 off your first $30 Order to go, this shows you to what extent Casual Chains will resort in order to launch not just "Delivery", but they are launching take out, which is a huge mistake. People want to be catered to..
That is the Mantra of Millennials.

Way too many Chains and Independents, refuse to do so.
Thus they are losing business and closing units for chains, their only location for Independents.
But, you must, you need to , you have to embrace "Delivery", for lunch of course, and now for dinner.
You need to view the optics of this business now and adapt to it.
"Delivery" is a must.
Should you decide to hire your own Delivery Personnel you are running up costs of liability insurance, dependency on your Delivery People even showing up for work.

"POT" is an entirely new in many cases recreational method for socializing and interaction in bars.
your Employees all must be drug tested regularly.
Of course it is smoking, so "POT" will have to join Tobacco in the area of your bar where smoking is allowed.
Keep in mind that in Colorado where "POT" is legal, the DUI due to Pot Smoking Rate is sky high.
So as a Bar Owner, be smart, when serving Patrons who may have smoked "POT" before they started drinking and already have a buzz going on?
Your Liability Insurance is going to be quite different when you insure for both Drinking and allowing "POT" smoking in your bar.
Authorities will have "ZERO TOLERANCE" for bars that let Patrons get carried away in their consumption of both "POT" and Liquor. Florida has a course that it requires bar owners and employees to take regarding just drinking, every bar in the USA should apply this Course to their daily operation.
I am not saying serving liquor cannot be compatible with smoking "POT", I have done it myself, without being stoned or drunk. My Son was hit by a drunk driver almost killed and his precious Girlfriend was killed,( RIP) they were just crossing the street when they were just kids, in 1996. I changed the DUI MANSLAUGHTER BOND in my Community from $500 to $50,000 or more, by finding out who the "First Appearance Judge" was, finding his phone number listed, and calling him at 3am from a Trauma Center asking him to show courage and raise the BOND, which he did, and the new Bond Amount was upheld on appeal. I also had my Community, two Counties and one City, ban underage patrons from any establishment that serves less than 10% food. I hold this industry to a high responsibility, I also want Bars to succeed but with a respect for protecting those drinking, those just driving and everyone else in their respective Communities. I have a very strong opposition to those municipalities that allow bars , clubs, to have under 21 patrons come in,because if you can't attract enough 21 and up patrons, especially Women into your establishment, you should not be in this business. Because the only $ you are going to collect from the under 21 crowd is your cover charge. Then you have to insure that they don't obtain a drink from someone of legal age all night long.
