What's your next big promotion?
What's your next big contest?
What's your next big event?
No, don't tell me, your going to let the same DJ ,
spin the same old music, and your going to let the same dull, boring,
no draw nights, continue with no changes of any
kind?
Why would you and why do you spend so much money for a major promotion
and then the next week go back to being dead?
Where is your club's intensity?
Where is your "FUN"?
You can have the greatest lights, sound and video, yet if you don't have
the "FUN", you have no " MOJO". Times are
tough, no doubt about it. People want to
escape the thoughts of impending war, a tough economy and terrorism.
Patrons can't accomplish that with cheap drinks, and no cover, they don't
mind paying for drinks and cover, IF.........you give them the "FUN".
You spend so much on radio, you expect so much in return, but you never
use the Jon Gruden strategy, "POUND THE ROCK", you have to change, adjust,
modify and respond to your local market, your competition and current trends
and lifestyle changes.
You have to "POUND THE ROCK", dial in, dial up and direct it to your
market. You are so close to the problem, you can't step back and see the
solutions. You refuse to accept change, your too stubborn, too hard headed,
and too burnt out.......
I love, I welcome, I embrace taking on the biggest and best club and
knocking them down on their tuchus.
I say "BRING IT ON", you don't run from their packed nights, you don't
match drink prices, you don't lower cover charge, you don't let patrons in
free, WRONG, WRONG, and WRONG AGAIN!
Quite the opposite, you go right after them, you meet them head on. If
your backing down and backing up, you may as well, close it up. If your a
Bar, a Club, a Restaurant, and your getting slammed and jammed by your
