COME ALIVE IN 2005

Here it is another Year upon us and your club still looks the same, operates the same, offers the same, smells the same and is the same.

Year after Year, you just milk it for all you can, never giving any thought, logic, or consideration to change, improvement, current trends and what makes patrons frequent clubs, bars, lounges, VIP Rooms?

It's "THE FUN," stop asking me what "THE FUN" is, this is not "DR PHIL" and his question and answer showdown.

This is your New Year Rich Unger Reality Check. Your Wake Up Call. Your ice cold water thrown in your face while your sleeping soundly jolt. Why? Because your club is pathetic.

Let's start with the same DJ, spinning the same music, dressing like a slob, using foul language and acting as unprofessional as you can get, yet you tolerate it.

Let's continue with horrible bartenders, sloppy cocktail servers, wise guy Door Personnel and then you tell me how your "CLUB EMPLOYEE" Morale is?

Remember when LEVIS where the rage, I mean everybody wore LEVIS, they were the only jean to wear, it didn't matter what style, the button fly 501, or the 505, everybody wore LEVIS. Then pooooooooooooof, no more LEVIS, do you know why? They let Tommy, Ralph, Guess, Sean Jean, Phatt, and every other alliterative designer steal their entire customer base.

LEVIS the BILLION DOLLAR BRAND is now barely operating any longer. They laid over, they stayed stale, and they never ever realized the reality of change.

Now back to your Club and it's present situation, you are doing nothing new, your still in a typical wet T-shirt (disgusting, demeaning) mode and if you could find them you would throw in midget tossing.

I mean all you know how to do is stay stagnant.....................

Patrons are so bored with your club, your employees are so tired of working there and all you do is say "As long as some cash is coming in what do I care."

Typical, average, lame, lazy mentality...................

Then when your numbers even drop more and you start losing that little bit of gravy you had, you panic, you blame everyone and you over react.

Hey, look in the mirror, you chose to do what you wanted to.

You buried your own club, you destroyed a gold mine, but not following the vein of gold.

I listen to so many burnt out Owners who have no clue what to do.

Why? Because they don't stay ahead of their competition they are always ten steps behind and then they over compensate by "panic promoting" and doing anything and everything to do business.

Wrong, wrong and wrong again.

How can an Owner who during the day has to:
Pay the bills
do the ordering
do the hiring and firing
order the repairs
make the phone calls
stock the liquor and beer
talk and take care of business all day, be energized enough to design, formulate and create money making no drink specials no free cover PROMOTIONS?

Answer, they cant!!!!!!

NO way, NO day..............

That is why I eat, sleep and breathe this industry to pack clubs not with cheap, cheaper or cheapest, I don't even mention the words "Drink Special."

You have no clue what "THE FUN" is, and you never will, your not supposed to, your a Club Owner or Manager your not a creative, brilliant, media savvy, nightclub Promotions Warrior, ahem, that would be me.

You see if you think about it, I have only one goal, one mission, that's to pack your club, you on the other hand have to do everything ..............

Now if you think your on my level and can play with the big dog in the tall grass, then you tell me your packed every Wed. Thurs. Fri. Sat. with not one drink special, with 60% Women and with "THE FUN" and I will acquiesce my Crown, until then, either pick up the phone and call me at 1-941-921-7027 and please don't waste my time and simply say "Pack My Club" or e-mail me at RichUnger@promotingnightclubs.com or just live in your own world of denial.
