Dontcha Wish Your Nightclub Was HOT Like Mine?
It's now November, and you've printed up, handed out at least thousands of
flyers last Month and what was the end result? Your Club did no more
business, than if you had not handed out the flyers at all.
You spent thousands on radio last month, and what was the result? Not the
slightest increase in patron counts.
Why is it I can pack a club with "THE FUN" and "THE WOW FACTOR" and you
keep giving away cheap drinks, letting patrons in free, and never learning
from the money your wasting or the time you spending?
Why is it you only have three Women to every Ten Male Patrons frequent
Think before you
MR. SO CALLED "BIG SHOT."
I had a "FLASHY" so-called Club Owner who just bought into a Club in
Baltimore call me. He proceeded to proclaim how great his volume was, but
then admitted that his bottom line was horrible.
He wanted advice on how to control and eventually rid the club of the "Hip
Hop" crowd. He inquired of me, what he could do to make his weeknights
viable. He bragged about all the money in lights, sound and atmosphere,
but said it was not enough, and he knew there was something very
significant missing. He made it a point to tell me how Tara Reid and Tyra
Banks had been to his VIP ROOM. When I asked him how much they spent he
said, "oh we comp them everything." Why?
What good is comping VIPs who have more money than you and who should pay,
tip and simply be treated with Superb Service, but that's it? Oh I see, so
you can tell everyone that they came to your club. Who cares? You think
the average clubber cares? No, they don't.
That's when I sang to him: "Dontcha wish your club was packed like mine."
I mean this Young Owner showed me upfront he didn't have a clue what he
was doing, why he was doing it and how he was supposed to be doing it.
Why is it, I can pack a Club with no drink specials, with no club
promoters, with no flyers and so many are still giving away what is
supposed to pay all their overhead, that bottle of liquor?
What is the logic in having a club promoter split your door, take your
door, demand a bar tab and VIP Guest List to bring in his crowd?
Why did you open a club to be dependent upon strangers to support it? Why
have a Manager who simply shows up, goes thru the motions and does nothing
to improve the revenue, the patron counts or the image and energy of your
These are very challenging times, and instead of retreating you need to
advance. The Night Before Thanksgiving is one of the biggest Nights of the
Year, what are you going to do in your club, in your bar, in your lounge
this year, to own your "AREA"? I mean that is far and away the "Premier
Promotion" of the Year to pack your room?
No, you would rather discount your beer, give away shots, let everyone in
free and then hope to make a buck at the end of the night. You have
absolutely no "GAME PLAN" for PROMOTIONS from right now thru Easter
You see, I am a firm believer in "APP - Advance Planning of Promotions,
so that you are set with your strategy before your competition even knows
they should be featuring a Major Promotion. The key is planning.

Your sitting with a medium size space, or a huge room, either way, you
both face same the same challenge, how to make money, I mean serious

something and you always end up with the same results, no patrons, cheap

spend more time with them, you have a daytime job on top of owning the
club and you know youre being ripped off on top of all the other
challenges you face.
Youre taking every step I repeat over and over in my Articles not to
