CLUBS SHOULD BE JAMMED PACKED
It's the height of "Season" and every nightclub that is loaded with "THE
FUN" should be jammed packed right now. I don't
mean drink specials, I don't mean cheap beer, I don't mean yesterday's
"hot bod" contest, I
mean jammed and packed with quality patrons spending money and staying at
your club, coming back more often and spreading the word about what a
fantastic "FUN" atmosphere and environment you have.
But so many Clubs have Owners who refuse to change, to modify to alter and
to accept it's 2005, instead suffer night after night.
I have never seen so many clubs acting in such a desperate manner,
such as having an "Industry Night" on a
Wednesday Night. Do I
have to tell you what night is "Industry Night"?
No Club can profit and surge on just weekend business alone. It takes
weeknights as well. But 99% of the strategies used to lure patrons in
during the week are all about drink and beer specials. I will never
understand why you would discount and give
away drinks to bring patrons in? I mean,
how do you expect to make any revenue? It's like
letting in under age patrons ... why?
First of all, it is against Federal
Discrimination Laws to arbitrarily invite strictly underage women into
your club and tell underage men they cannot enter.
You are violating their civil rights and you are in violation of
Federal Law. You also leave yourself wide open
to a class action lawsuit.
When you manage your Club by the seat of your pants and you compromise
your own Morals and ethics just to make a buck,
you are taking your club to the point of destruction.
I had an employee from a Club call me.
Their "Hip Hop" night,
while packed, was the most Violent, most dangerous, most destructive night
of their week. The
Owner's disregard for the safety and welfare of his patrons and his
employees was Overshadowed and blinded by the door charge revenue he was
taking in. He ignored the fights, the groping,
the lack of women showing up, the damage to his club, the threats and
confrontations his employees faced all for that mighty buck.
Then there is the Club Owner who has a partner who he wishes he never ever
went into the club business with. Interesting how friends become
adversaries once they own a nightclub. They waste more time debating what
to do, how to do it, and when to do it, than
actually holding any promotions and realistically profiting from them.
"Your Club Should Be Jammed."
The reason it is consistently empty is because you refuse to accept
change, you adamantly deny the club is having problems and you listen to
all the wrong people from deadbeat club promoters to greedy radio
salespeople to even liquor salesmen who, like
the other two, only want your money and don't
give a darn if you make a dime.
If you're paying a radio station to hold a
remote on a Friday night, then your club has serious problems. If your
giving away concert tickets, Cruises and booking the very same bands that
are playing right down the street at another club, then your club is
having serious problems. If your Manager has no ability to construct or
execute a promotion and pack your club other than to give away cheap
drinks, then your club is having a serious problem.
If you are closing down more weeknights and simply throwing in the towel
on Wednesday and Thursday Nights, then your club is having serious
problems. If your Club has no dress code or
uniform for your staff to wear, than your club is having serious problems.
If your club is lacking female patrons you're
having a major problem.
If your Club is drawing the wrong crowd in and experiencing damage and a
horrible reputation is starting to spread, than your club is going
through major problems.
If your club is having a problem with employee morale and employees
doing their jobs then your club is having a major problem.
If your Club is open less than a year and your numbers, patron counts and
revenue are way down then your club is having VERY SERIOUS PROBLEMS.
Either suffer or solve them. With no "Hockey Season" this Year, I would
urge ALL SPORTS BARS RELIANT UPON HOCKEY SEASON TO COME UP WITH AN
ALTERNATIVE GAME PLAN OF "THE FUN," since sadly you stand to lose
thousands and thousands of dollars due to this dire situation.
Let me pack you with "THE FUN" and nobody will even think of flying
It's time Sports Bars realized they can also be night life adventures,
when the games are over or in this case, when there are no games to watch.
Call me at 1-941-921-7027, tell Rich Unger the challenges you face.
But don''t let your club close.........................................
BECAUSE YOUR CLUB SHOULD BE JAMMED and PACKED.
