CLUBS SHOULD NOT DEPEND ON OUTSIDE PROMOTERS TO PACK THEIR FLOOR!

I have never seen so many clubs dependent upon outside Promoters to
make their clubs money.
Outside Promoters come with a lot of baggage, first of all, it's their
following and their mailing list and their friends, and their Party,
secondly it's their demands of comp drinks, their behavior and their rules
you play by. Finally, why are you the Owner of a club, paying some
promoter to generate traffic and cash flow for you? Why did you buy
your club? Why did you pour a ton of cash into opening your
club? Why did you even get into the nightclub industry?
Your club should never ever be dependent upon some cocky, arrogant, hot
shot promoter to pack it and to keep it thriving. I have always, I repeat
always done it myself. I recently had a phone call from a Miami
Beach Club Owner, who was experiencing a very difficult relationship with
outside promoters. They were rude, unprofessional and
"hot shots" in a club, that they were being paid to promote and
to present. I have always said if you own it, if you manage it, then
you better learn how to promote it!!!!
So this Club Owner is losing his arse, because he is dependent upon
these club promoters to make him or break him.
I say, nobody knows your crowd, better than you do. Why pay someone,
why spend the $$$$, make it all yourself, it's YOUR CLUB!!!!
