It's nice to hear from a PRO in the "BIZ" who is right on the same track

Hey Rich, I just finished looking at your web site and I wanted to let you
know that you rock! I am a partner with Dance Floor Systems in Houston and
we have installed the lighting and sound in around 70% of the clubs here.
These guys make ALL of the mistakes you point out. No one provides any
fun. Their mistakes are profitable for us since we usually get to redo
these clubs when they close. Honestly, I would rather see more of these
clubs succeed. Its sad to live in the 4th largest city and have such lame
nightlife! Keep up the good work! I will be paying a visit to your site
regularly.

Thank You Daniel, so often I am accused of being arrogant and blunt,
because I tell it like it is in this industry. The facts are only 10% of
those who go out at night will go to a Nightclub, rather than a sports
bar, a neighborhood bar, or a casual dining location with a bar, so it is
imperative that Nightclubs go the distance in every facet of their
operation to bring in patrons.

the #1 club in my market 4 some time now but am slowly loosing patrons 2
other clubs and am frustrated with it. ticked off, if u will. and want 2

"Know What I know"? Going from the #1 club to none, is quite a feat, it
means you rolled over and allowed every other club and bar to eat away,
grind at, and steal your patrons and you did nothing to stop it.
I would never ever relinquish one patron to another club or bar without a
knock down drag out fight, featuring my "FUN" against any cheap drinks or
free beer they can throw at me. Bring them on !!!!!!!!
Your last comment threw me for a curve.
It's not a matter of knowing what I know, but realizing you cannot operate
in the same manner, with the same mentality and by the same methods you
have.
If your so smart, and your a Promotions Whiz, then your bar, your club,
your lounge would be packed nightly and you would not be offering drink
specials or cheap beer, now would you?
Never ever give away your product.
Why draw in a crowd if you can, of money tightwads, who are only
patronizing your establishment, because of the price of a drink and for no
other reason?
Owners most difficult challenge in operating their clubs and bars are to
come up with profitable promotions that pack in the "RIGHT" patrons.
If you don't have Women, your place has nobody.
If you listen to everyone from Friends to Family, your panicking and
partaking in a zig zag course of action that always results in costing you
money and producing no viable revenue or patrons.

Patrons have to love your Club, love your bar, because of what you are
doing and not what you’re giving away. Don't ever associate your club or
bar with your competition in giving away cheap drinks, cheaper beer and
waiving the cover charge. Don't downplay your own ability to profit by
reducing prices and dropping the cover, nobody is going to show you some
love because you give the house away.
But … They will love to love you because your taking their minds off the
woes of the world and providing them the perfect outlet to have "THE FUN."
With one of the slowest Months of the Year, upon us, "September" is the
notorious for no cash flow or slow cash flow. But, it doesn't have to be
that way. It's not written in stone that you suffer thru this Month. You
have the ability to defy the known and pack your club or bar with the
unknown, that you've never ever pursued before, "THE WOW FACTOR."
If you want patrons and especially Women to love your club or bar, you
need to generate and create that "AFFECTION" by wooing them in with what
no other Club or Bar is doing.
This month as you wallow in your own pity party, because your club is
dead, your bar is empty, remember this, you are the one preventing it from
being packed. You are the one procrastinating. You are the one who refuses
to acknowledge and admit your mistakes and turn this operation around.
You, the bucks come in and the bucks stop coming in because of what you do
or don't do.
