NIGHTCLUB PROMOTIONS NOW!

Someone some day has to explain to me why Nightclub Owners are so uneducated, that they waste so much money on so many expenditures that do nothing to bring in business?

Is it just me, or does anyone else notice the constant need to offer cheap beers, very cheap drinks, free cover charge and nothing more than a DJ all in one night as "THE FUN"?

From Ybor City in Tampa, Florida to Wilmington, North Carolina, from Cleveland to New York City, all Club Owners are doing is giving away the house in the heat of Summer to simply put bodies in their clubs. The "Price Wars" are out of control.

Arrogant Owners and their partners suffer thru no business during the week on the nights they are open, usually just Thursday, maybe also Wednesday and then on Friday and Saturday Nights, which should be a given "Money Maker" both nights, they give everything away to bring anyone in. It truly defies logic.

Club Promoters are out of ideas, concepts, themes, events, promotions, parties, and contests, because I have been inundated with calls from Club Promoters screaming, "I NEED HELP!"

Latin Nights are dead, stick a fork in them. Hip Hop Nights are the worst nightmares that make good money. Between the fights, the attitudes, the foul mouths, the searching for weapons, the fake ids, the violence, some clubs rely on this night simply to pay their bills and survive. I would not do a Hip Hop Night for any amount of money and I still would make my club clients just as much money, but without all the headaches, the hassles and the heat.

I wouldn't use a Flyer to advertise or pump up a night, if it were ten colors, glossy and free. Flyers are over with.... I crack up over the Owners who use their computers to generate flyers for events at their club. I mean, are they for real?

Let me tell you right now if your a Club Owner and you are letting in 18 year old girls and demanding the men be 21 and up you are in direct violation of Federal Anti Discrimination laws. Who told you that you can simply decide to let girls in 18 years of age, but not boys. You don't have that right. Yet, clubs who are desperate for women do it every day. When your club has to let 18 year old girls in, you're a lousy, pathetic and out of touch club. If you can't draw enough Hot 21 and UP Women your club is pathetic. What do you think the main objective of an 18 year old under age girl is, once she is allowed in a Nightclub? To get a drink! She will go to any lengths for her friends or a stranger, for that matter, to get her a drink. Yet clubs that are in despair, Clubs that are deadbeat clubs that have no Promotions with the focus on "THE FUN," will resort to desperate measures to take in revenue.

Club Owners use no common sense, the average 21 Year Old Patron has a cell phone he or she has to pay every month, a car payment and car insurance, as well as half the rent, since most have roommates. So where is their disposable income?

I mean, Owners who continue to drift and dwell with a club that "USED TO" be packed and is now dying, caused it's death themselves. You never roll over and play dead for any competition you might have.

Graham Brothers are known in certain areas of the Country for cheap and discounted drinks and that's about it. I love, I mean I jump for joy, anytime I have a club in one of their communities ask me to go toe to toe against them.

Bring on the "GAC," as I call them: the "give away clubs."

I have written Graham Brothers quite a few times asking them to explain their logic of operating, but as usual rudeness prevails and I get no response. But I do take their business away. I do take their patrons away.

You see "NIGHTCLUB PROMOTIONS" are not the same as cheap or discounted or free drinks. "NIGHTCLUB PROMOTIONS" are bringing your patrons "THE FUN." That is the one area of the industry nine out of ten Owners have no comprehension of. What good is adding a kitchen on to a sports bar, if you have no "FUN"? You don't make money on food. You make money on liquor and beer, when you put the focus and center of attention on "THE FUN."
