DJ's, LIGHTS, SOUND & LASERS R NOT ENOUGH.
By Rich Unger
I hear from so many club owners who have invested so much $$$$ in lights,
sound, and lasers, and have a great DJ and still are not jamming in
patrons.
I hear from so many club owners who spend huge amounts of $$$$ on
marketing and advertising and still patrons are not lining up to get in.
I pose this simple question to you, "what are you doing above and
beyond the norm to lure patrons in?".
What does your club offer that no other club offers?
Ybor City, Tampa is a perfect example of over-saturation of clubs,
similar to The Flats in Cleveland, every club is fighting the other club's
marketing with drink specials, but what are they doing different and
dazzling and dynamite?
They moan and complain how the head counts are off, but they do nothing
to change the constant. Club Owners are a rare breed, they refuse to admit
their downward spiral, they refuse to seek insight and input to stop the
loss of cash flow and they think closing down more nights, and only
opening a few nights a week is the answer?
Wrong and Wrong again.
You can't make money if your not open. Let me repeat this,
YOU CAN'T MAKE
MONEY IF YOUR CLUB IS CLOSED....
How can clubs expect to
pack patrons in, if they are not open, and why on earth would you give
your competition an edge and advantage by closing so many nights?
Clubs that close are
clubs that give up and give out to stronger, smarter and smoother run
clubs. I have spoken to so many club owners who just don't get it.
They listen to all the wrong talking heads, they give away the bar, they
lower the cover, then they cry, " I can't make any money".
What a bunch of cry
babies, instead of getting off their arses and turning their clubs around,
they dwell and continue to operate in the same manner, making no changes,
no impact and no difference.

Club OWNER, and you want to do the deed as the Navy Seals Credo, then call
