SUMMER NIGHTCLUB PROMOTIONS

It doesn't matter if your club is in Maine, or New Mexico, Cleveland or
Oregon, Summertime Promotions are a major revenue booster.
I hear from so many clubs who are so reliant on drink specials and
brand parties, and then say to me "what else is there? "
I mean these people should be owning KFC, Burger King and Taco Bell
Units and not bars or nightclubs.
Here are The TOP TEN Promotions For Summer of 2004:
1. Bikini Challenges
If your not holding a "Cute and Cool" bikini contest and buying bikinis
from us and giving them to potential contestants just for entering, than
you truly are insane in the brain.
Let me put it this way, if your not presenting any kind of "Bikini"
event this Summer, you don't belong in the
biz............................. Go work at a Starbucks and have a cup.
2. Interactive Promotions
How much more hi tech do you want to go, the promotions that are
interactive are a blast and yours for the presenting.
3. Themed Concepts
Oh please, how many different "Themes" can you tie in right now to your
area, your Community and your culture?
4. Cutting Edge Gatherings
Do you ever watch Cable TV, do you ever read Cosmo or Vanity Fair, do you
ever read to convert what you read to "Cutting Edge Gatherings"?
5. Summer Sensual Games
Come on, this is a given, with the Olympics in Athens, where are your
"Summer Games"?
6. Music/Food/Beverage Events
Anybody home? Music, food events and add the beverage parties.
This is a triple your regular Sunday Revenue day and night !!!
7. Hot Summer Parties
You think every Summer Night you will be packed, well guess, what the odds
were "Smarty Jones" would win the Triple Crown, too. "Hot Summer Parties"
are taking slow hot nights and turning them into packed cool cash Parties.
8. Dance & Romance
Just these two words alone should give you the direction, the insight and
the promotions to present.
9. Heatwave Highlights
How do you cool off during a "Heatwave" with water, no you figure it out,
and watch the line form at your front door.
10. Sizzle, Sensual & Sazzle
The "Sizzle" is in the Presentation, the Sensual is in the promotion and
the sazzle is the reaction from your standing room only patio, deck, and
terrace.
Now, listen up, not one drink special, not one cheap beer, none. I have
clubs like one in Maine where the Female Owner bragged to me," oh I am
packed all the time with liquor and beer brand parties and cheap prices on
their brands."
I said one question, "WHY?"
Why? Why would you discount and give cheap prices on brands your featuring
for the night, when you know full well, that those brand are going to
produce the majority of the revenue?
So many Owners of clubs, bars, lounges, taverns, patio tiki bars have no
business being in this business.
I know of one who does huge business, but he is the most unprofessional
Owner, always being buzzed, dressing like a slob, drinking far too much
during his open hours and in plain English, a real loser. If you lack the
discipline, and the ability to be consistent with your format and
operation, then you need HELP....
I mean think about it, how did you get to where your club is now? All that
money you spent on radio, on those cheap drink promotions you ran,
thinking it would pack out your room, all those silly worthless flyers,
add it all up now and compare the expense to the return and get back to
me.
You do the same thing every week and then you wonder why no fresh new
faces don't frequent you and why your regulars are no longer coming in
quite as often as they use to.
It's Summertime, break out of your old mold, it's 2004, give them more and
more.
You have no one to blame but yourself for not moving tables and chairs and
offering dancing, you have no one to blame but yourself for tolerating
rude, abusive employees.
Look at your bathrooms, look at your bar, look at your entire operation, I
mean I guess your patrons should be happy you have air conditioning.
