THE CALM BEFORE THE CROWDS!

Here is it September, you either rolled in dough this past Summer, or your suffered in solitude.

Let me give you these wise words of wisdom ,"FEAR DEFEATS MORE CLUB OWNERS THAN ANY OTHER ONE FACET OF OPERATING A CLUB."  Why are Club Owners afraid to plan out and know that what they need to do PROMOTIONS WISE are set and settled, so that they can focus on day to day Operations?

Answer: Fear.

How can an Owner operate without any kind of planned, formatted, synchronized Schedule of upcoming EVENTS, THEMES, CONCEPTS, CONTESTS, PARTIES, HAPPENINGS, GATHERINGS, UNIQUE ENTERTAINMENT?

When does a Club Owner not know what is going to take place a month from now, two months from now, three months from now?

Why does a Club Owner know the drink specials, the cheap beer, the reduced cover charge he is going to offer every night?

How can you as an OWNER expect to make serious money, if you don't place your own Club's Promotions as your #1 Priority?

Right now every "Hands On" Club Owner knows the money to be made lies ahead in the coming Months.  They are reviewing every single facet of their promotional placement, to insure they will be packed.  Their mindset and their mentality is dominated by staying far and away ahead of their competition.  Detailing their "FUN" and "WOW" to maximize it's impact. 

You see when one Club or Ultra Lounge or Huge Bar starts doing tremendous business and creating crowds at night, other competing establishments start suffering, Your not taking in new cash, your taking someone else's revenue right from their registers.  How are you going to shatter last year's numbers and crowd counts, if you have no idea what your going to host, promote, present and produce?  This entire business is based on foresight, advance planning, future formats.

Doesn't it make perfect sense to you, that a well thought out strategy that addresses, the event, the bar, the music, the marketing, the in-house advertising, the possible advance sale of tickets, the decorations, the prizes, the media and the message all be known far ahead so that no stone is left unturned?

Owners are so lazy, so complacent, so set in their ways, I sometimes wonder
how they are still operating?  This is "BAR WARS" and you cannot afford to be on the defensive, you must be the Aggressor.

There is a CALM right now, before the Cash, the Crowds and the Crush.  The question is what are you going to do entirely different these coming Months filled with one packed night after another than you did last year?  Are you going to be dependent upon Club Promoters who have your best interests last, and their bank accounts first? Why?

They don't plan, they simply play.  Club Promoters only exist because Club Owners are lazy, refuse to work, become codependent upon strangers who have their own agendas, their
own motives and your club is not at the top of either of these concerns.  Club Promoters don't own patrons, DJs don't own patrons, clubbers go where the crowds go.

The next six months are going to be either packed or lacked for you.  Sports Bars are going to plan based on the big games, instead of combining those nights with "FRESH FUN" they create on nights no games air.  How many Latin Nights, Hip Hop Nights, can you offer?  Why aren't you ahead of the curve instead of behind it? You will write a check for worthless radio advertising faster than you will take the time to outline from A to Z your entire Month by Month Plan of "FUN" and "WOW."

3. THEY LISTEN TO ALL THE WRONG PEOPLE
4. THEY DON'T THINK THEY NEED TO

6. THEIR PARTNERS DISAGREE WHICH COURSE TO TAKE
7. THEY DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY
8. THEY OPERATE ONE WEEK AT A TIME
9. THEY LISTEN TO THEIR WIVES
10. THEY LISTEN TO THEIR HUSBANDS
