IS YOUR NIGHTCLUB A TRAIN WRECK, OR ONE WAITING TO HAPPEN?
By Rich Unger
To often, Club Owners in their despair turn to detrimental measures to
attract patrons.
When a club is constantly switching nightly formats, creating no
consistency in their concepts, but throwing darts at a board, in order
to try to put warm bodies
in their club, they are destroying an chance of maintaining a mainstream
flow of
loyal clubbers.
Once you create a Night, see it through, promote it properly, present it
professionally and profits will result.
But when you simply print up flyers, have your DJ announce it, your a
train wreck in the making.
The less effort you dedicate to insuring your Nights are packed, the
worse the results will be.
You can beat your competition by lowering your prices by another $1,
lessen your profit and still find yourself standing in an empty club, a
dead bar, a lame lounge.
It's like a Restaurant that has a huge area for a Club like atmosphere
but, totally
ignores the VAST CASH FLOW that can be derived from becoming a Late
Night, Dance Club?
How can so many Restaurant Owners miss the martini , by not transforming
into a "Night Life Adventure", and tripling their volume and their
profit?
I know of a brand new upscale Nightclub in my Community, who is
installing a Tap for beer and running a special $14 all the Tap Beer You
Can Drink All Night.
My response, "WHY"?
Why do you have to resort to such desperate measures, when these are as
I say 1000x "The Money Months"?
Why is it you can pack your Club, your Bar, your Lounge, on Friday and
Saturday Nights, yet during the week you not waiting to happen, you are
a certified "Train wreck"?
Stop guessing at what to do, instead build an infrastructure of Concepts
that keep your weeknights packed, BUT................................not
with a single drink special or cheap beer, BUT rather with "THE FUN" and
"THE WOW FACTORS".
How many times do I have to hammer home the same Mantra " You want
WOMEN, You want SPENDERS, you want packed weeknights.
Consistency is the key, is vital is paramount to you being packed and
making remarkable revenue as I call it.
I love to see the competition empty out and the other club packed.
It's easy to accomplish, you have to implement, dedicate, strategize and
above all stay focused.
In my Community now that football Season is over, I see a huge really
beautiful Sports Bar, resorting to Ladies Night $1 drinks.
What is this Owner thinking?
I mean what possible motive, what kind of flawed logic goes into putting
drinks at $1 for ladies in a Sports Bar environment?
Does he offer any "FUN"? No.
Does he offer any "WOW FACTORS"? No.
IT is a shame just like a "Ultrasound" used for telling what Sex a Baby
is inside the womb, I should invent a "Clubasound" to show what Club
Owners know what they are doing, which have no clue, prior to them
owning a club.
Imagine how many potential club "Train Wrecks" we could prevent?
If your Club is dead right now, if your sales are off by even 10% right
now as compared to last year, call me, don't wait, don't hesitate, don't
procrastinate, pick up the phone call 1-941-921-7027 and say "Rich,
Let's pack my place NOW".

MAKE ROOM ANOTHER TRAIN WRECK CHOO CHOO IS COMIN....
I have to mention this, because this "Train Wreck" was coming long
before the establishment was even opened.
A Woman with deep pockets, builds and then opens a Jazz format Club in
Wisconsin.
From the beginning, she pours more money into the construction than
Paris the bimbette Hilton makes in a year, anyway, the Lady spends and
drops cash and more scratch into building this Restaurant/Jazz Club that
has no "FUN", instead is basic, boring, dull, with Jazz.
No Fusion, No Miles, No Wynton, No Benson, just an upscale unnecessary,
way too costly venue.
The Grand Opening is marred by poor service, with a packed house of
movers and shakers, the staff is incompetent, lazy and in no way ready
to match their service with this ambiance.
Naturally, the Bistro is dying a slow death within a month of opening.
The web site is about as exciting as seeing Britney shave her head.
Sadly this "Train Wreck" could have been avoided had the never before
Owner sought out Experts who could have cut her building costs in half,
hired the proper staff, marketed the correct way and made this a "Bullet
Train" rather than a derailed disaster.

UH OH, CLEAR THE TRACKS, YUP HERE COMES ANOTHER......
Then there is the former Restaurant Manager who poured all his money
into a club/sports bar in Iowa.
He puts mo money, mo money and is left with a club, that after three
weeks is dead, except some patrons on weekends.
DJ, Drink Specials, and nothing else.
Oh, he spent and spent on lights, and sound.
Then he yup, bought radio time, more time, even more time, nobody came
in.......
Now he is wondering why in the midst of being open just 3 weeks, he is
so slow, so dead, nobody is coming in, especially Women?
Once again, this "Train Wreck" should have never occurred.
But, ego, and arrogance took over the Train's direction, and the Club
never ever had a chance to stay on the tracks.

Why do Club Owners, and Wanna Bee Club Owners operate with no sense of
logic or foresight?
Every Night your open that your establishment is dead, someone else is
doing business and your not.
Every Time you give out cheap and free drinks, your denying yourself
much needed revenue and profit.
Every local band you book that draws nobody is a waste of your money and
your club's image, when there is so much unique and exciting Live
Entertainment that your missing the Stage on.
Every Radio Spot that you pay through the nose for that does even draw
enough patrons to pay for the spot, let alone make you money is a waste
of good marketing dollars.
So as you sit at the end of your bar, and smoke outside and wonder why
you ever got into this industry, ask yourself this?
Why haven't I called Rich Unger?
When you can give yourself a logical, honest answer, I would love to
hear it.
Call Rich Unger at 1-941-921-7027 or email RichUnger@promotingnightclubs.com
or just keep watching "DEAL OR NO DEAL" and wonder if you made a good
deal or a bad deal with your establishment?
